Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew any websites that shows what Patricia McPherson looks like today? I have been looking and all I get are things of her on Knight Rider. I know what she looked like then, she would not today. So could anyone suggest any links that would have pictures of her now appear?

She has left acting and is now part of an environmentalist group. There was a quick time move with her in it a little while ago. I believe neps has the link, sorry I couldn't have been more help, but someone who knows that link should be by soon

Yeah, I know she's not acting anymore. But I was just wondering what she looks like today? Someone who's extremely good looking in the 80's will not stay like that as 18 years pass. All the search results I get just give pictures of Knight Rider.

Not the greatest image, but a more recent one that came from a newspaper article about her environmentalist endeavors. (she's the one in the back with the camera)

Wow, how old is that pic KI? Though its not a good shot, I'd say she still looks beautiful.

Thank you very much. You women sure did me a favor. She looks pretty much like she did then. And yes, I successfully got that site up. It didn't show any pictures of her. But I'll sit back and read about everything on it.

Patti holds the honor of being my first celebrity crush.

Ahem, but I think its wonderful she's helping the world out by being an environmentalist. I'm glad. :D

Well, she does look somewhat like ten years older. But she's not bad for someone who's nearly 50. She's still got the beauty in her.

I've been helping out with Patricia's Grassroots Coalition group over the past year. Yes, she still looks good but what is amazing is to hear her speak about all the work they've been doing. This is not a simple "pollution is bad" campaign. It's a very complicated issue involving politics, chemistry, biology, and economics all rolled up into one giant mess. She can quote you underground gas pressure readings, government regulations passed 10 years ago, and economic forecasts for the region - all within the same sentence at times. She really is brilliant, although by her own admission, ironically she knows virtually nothing about computers.

On the website is a large (9 minute) video explaining many of the issues she's fighting:

For a quick preview of Patricia McPherson talking about the gas leaks at Ballona, I made a short 20-second clip (900k QuickTime)

When Joe and I were doing interviews for the book we spoke with her and I have to say she is very intelligent. However, she is no longer in Hollywood and has no intention of going back.

I applaud her efforts and Joe and I made sure her efforts are seen in every KRL book that is bought.

Yeah, I know you two did, that's cool. I recognize that she never wants to return. But you know...if they DO make this movie it would be SO great to see her in the KR world one last time.

I can't remember if I had a crush on her or not lol, if i did, it was my first and only celebrity one.

Make sure you have Quicktime 6, if you do give it a couple of minutes, it was slow to start for me, it loads the whole video before it shows anything :)

Wow, Knightvision, you actually met Patti Mcoherson? Thats awesome! Whats her personality like? Is it similar to what we saw on the show? Or is she a completely different person in real life? I've never met a celebrity. :(

I think Patricia McPherson could sell Sno-Cones to Eskimos.

The main difference I see between Patricia and Bonnie is that as smart as Bonnie was, she wasn't very assertive. Yes, she is probably the only woman who could stand up to Michael's cheesey advances, but when it came to her actual job it seemed that she would usually just do what Michael or Devon told her, even if she thought it was a bad idea.

Patricia McPherson on the other hand is more pro-active. I helped her group out with a couple of flea market fund-raisers, and when something needed to be done she didn't sit around and wait for someone to take care of it: she would just do it. We came across a large banner and she grabbed me and said "come on, let's go hang this on the fence down the street." They had some event flyers and she took someone else and said "come on, let's go pass these out at the beach". She's definitely far more a "do-er" than a "talker".

Sometimes it's the smallest things that give insight into what kind of person someone is. One time we were outside their office talking about whatever and she stops and says "I'm sorry, do you mind if I put on my sunglasses? I don't want to be rude and not make eye contact but the sun is just too bright out here." This is L.A.; everybody wears sunglasses. But for someone to ask permission before putting them on? First class.

At one of their meetings Patricia was talking about all the sacrifices people have made over the past many years for this cause: financial, professional, personal. She said she was eager to get back to her acting career but she wouldn't consider it until this development project is stopped once and for all. You have to admire that level of dedication.

(begging section)
You can help her out by making a donation via PayPal or check- $5, $10, whatever you like. Even a small donation would be greatly appreciated:

From too much over use, the term using the three letters l,o and l has been put on hiatus for a few days. ;) It's part of the board censor feature.

Meeting a celebrity is no different then meeting a person. After meeting just about everyone who worked on Galactica or speaking to them on the phone it didnt matter if they were celebrities, all that mattered is they were my friend and were a person.

Patricia knows we exist. Its just that she turned her back on Hollywood and Knight Rider for a better cause.

I'm doing my best to convince her to change that through her friend. I hope I have some news soon about it.
