KITT/KARR swap-out

I was looking around the internet on the electronics and was wondering - had anyone made a swap-out voicebox? As in, pull out, pull off, then hook in KARR and it's done? That would make a lot of sense and let everyone have both KITT and KARR without having to buy two whole cars. If you look at the show and the first season especially, it looks like the voicebox swaps out.
