I prefer Paul Frees' take in KITT vs KARR.

While I like Peter Cullen as the voice of one of many childhood heroes of the 80's Optimus Prime.Sure he pulled off a very early prototype AI expertly well.I feel the more human sounding Paul Freeze was what Karr needed to match Kitt.Not to say anything against Cullen but the way he was told to portray the computer.

Just got home from seeing Transformers 4.Peter Cullen gave yet another great performance as Optimus Prime.One of my favorite lines was when one of the autobots said after a speech from Optimus "He makes you want to go and die for him doesn't he?" Once again great as Prime but an villianous car not the greatest.Partly to blame is the script from Trust Doesn't Rust.

I think for a dysfunctional, immature and oblivious failed prototype Cullen did a great job but for a blood thirsty, revenge obsessed machine who would stop at nothing to destroy Michael and KITT Frees was the perfect choice.

Frees gave KARR personality. Cullen had a basic dullish voice, but suited a prototype car perfectly. I actually liked KRO's voice on Team Knight Rider. Seemed like an evil KITT.

I like Paul Frees better. His KARR voice was more sinister and evil. It really made it seem like the car was evil. I didn't really get that feeling as much from Peter Cullen. And, Frees didn't sound like a robot. Cullen kinda sounded too robotic for me. I know he's the Knight Automated Roving ROBOT, but still. He shouldn't really sound like one. Although, Peter Cullen did do a better job in the 08 series.

Peter Cullen and Paul Frees were both amazing KARR voice actors but if I am to pick the my favourite KARR voice actor it would be Paul Frees. Peter Cullen's KARR voice was immature and wasn't very smart who would let human beings (Tony and Rev) take control of him whereas Paul Frees' KARR voice was sinister and pure evil and manipulated human beings (Mandy, John and Eddie) so he could carry out his mission to destroy Michael Knight, KITT and the Foundation for Law and Government. I think Paul Frees' KARR was more villainous than Peter Cullen's KARR.

The episodes with KARR were always my favorite, and my favorite actor in the TV show was Paul Frees, he sounded sinister and manipulative. My favorite voice of KARR outside of the show is the voice of my KARR repilca, Fred Frees, Paul's son.
