There is an exclusive article on news about the Knight Rider movie, Moviehole.net announces it The Hoff wants in on the project and wants to get it going with the Weinstein Bros once he gets back to the States. The Weinsteins still plan to do something with the franchise as they own the rights to the old series. That's what the article says. This could be possible really good news. Check out the article,

At this point, I'm not getting any hopes up of a movie until I see a trailer!

Hoffs been talking about a movie since Team Knight Rider has been on the air.

They say that the Hoff is envolved on a musical version of Baywatch in London, but who knows what's he going to do when he gets back to América!? Have faith that one day a big screen Knight Rider film will be made!

yeah well this has been in the air since 2000 and we still have been waiting and he is close to 70 years old i do not think he can still drive KITT i mean look in Batman Beyond Bruce Wayne got so old he needed a new guy to be "Batman"

You know what might be cool...if Hoff would play Cameron Zachary?!?!

Cameron Zachary was the one who originally put the hit out on Michael Long, we find that out in season 2's episode, A Good Knights Work...I think that would be a great character for him to portray. It would be something for the die hard fans.

He could start out as a cameo in the first movie, and then a major villain in the sequel when he finds out that Long is still alive and driving "Wilton Knight's miracle car!"

Yeah, that would be cool, what about if he would be the old Michael Knight narrating his life story, telling story on his own perspective?

Any Knight Rider Movie would be Great.

Don't say that! Someone might take another stab at knight rider 2010.

They'll make a movie Knight Rider 2100, even weirder and worse than Knight Rider 2010.

This is kind of a moot subject, Larson owns the rights to a Knight Rider movie, so Hoff can want what he wants, and the Weinsteins can want what they want, but unless its Larson making the phone call to the production company and or studio it doesnt matter. It's sad but we won't see a film adaptation until after he passes, or sells the property.

Maybe they make the Knight Rider film when we were all geezers!!!

Shatner hoped to make new Trek projects, and wanted in on the JJRebootrams's first film, but none of that came to pass.

What the Hoff wants, and what Weinstein wants, are two very different things. If Harvey is involved, here's what you'll get:

Knight Rider blasphemey with a terrible song in the opening or end credits, barely anything recognizable by the loving fanbase; some bland, generic male lead who's just a box office draw; a provacatively dressed female lead shoehorned in because everybody is bastardizing the strong women thing Joss Whedon had brought back into the media, so there's always got to be some "sexy" female kicking butt; a big, boring score by somebody like Steve Jablonsky or Brian Tyler; and a director nobody and their grandma would want to direct it.

How will the Hoff be involved? Well, let me present this joke Norm MacDonald told when he hosted "The Fake News" on "Saturday Night Live":

The TV series, "The Love Boat", is being made into a big-screen feature by Newline Cinema. The producers have announced that thee entire original cast of: Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy, Ted Lang, Lauren Tewes, and Jill Whelan will have to pay $7.50 to see the movie just like everyone else.

So, The Hoff will be paying $9.50 or $12.50 -- whatever the price is in his area -- to see the movie like everybody else. Total sum of his involvement.

The Hoff need's to take over Devon's role? He's too old to be running around jumping into kitt and driving off. Isn't the movie option up yet? I thought it would be time for Glen to sell the movie right's to another studio and collect another big fat cheque??

Hmm...a grayheaded Hoff as Devon. But if William Daniels can't voice KITT id take Eugene Levy...as for Michael, Brandon Routh...since he can't be Superman anymore...lol

The Hoff is still Michael Knight but just in charge of the foundation. And yes they better hurry up with the movie. William Daniels is not getting any younger. He has to be the voice of kitt nobody else will do in my book's.

I heard once that the Hoff want's Simon Cowell do Kitt's voice!
