inconsistency found in topaz connection

When Michael tries to jam the jet's rowter,he falls on kitt in slow motion and his jacket blows off kitt's windhseild.But after kitt drives him back to the semi and wakes up,he's wearing it.

I think it grows out the back of his spine and forms over him.Either that or there's a button in kitt marked auto jacket.
