I was reading some of the youtube comments on the GST video and some people are scratching their heads as to why he would say "but write letters" I think it was because I said to him "We are all freaking out that the show has been canceled." And so I'm thinking he had our thread to save KR in mind and didn't want to stop us from sending them.

Ah why a stunt car? My guess is because of all the pyrotechnics going off. They must have one they keep perfect and a stunt double.

I only saw Justin. He tells me it's been mainly him on set these days since after the reboot the focus will be more on him and KITT.

I work on the KNIGHT RIDER crew and GST wasn't quite right, the PROP dept. used up almost 5200 (thats right 5200) rounds of .223 ammo and 700 rounds of 9mm. It was quite a SHOOT OUT. And for keeping KNIGHT RIDER on the air, please tell 5 people to tell 5 people and so on. Thanks

As I was saying why do they need a stunt car? How can a car get messed up being pushed back and forth between the green screen and the parking lot....

'Stunt' cars are usually heavily stripped down and feature roll cages, uprated suspension and often higher BHP engines installed.

All the above allow the stunt driver to perform much more accurate 'high risk' routines and are far more predicable. The usually feature little if any 'show' elements like the correct dash and wheel etc..

The are, at times, constructed from different materials to allow for quick changes of panels OR made partly from rubber! Yep you heard it.

Obviously not working on KR08 I wouldnt know which of the above methods they are using, but my guess is at least two will feature.

Even though the 'turbo boosts' are CGI, the landings are not... so i'm going to guess they would be used for that too

I have another question, do they still use 'remote KITT' when the car is supposed to be 'unmanned...'???

I'd like to know that too but with their having a car with such darkly tinted windows I'd imagine they just have someone drive it since we can't see inside as well as the buck with green screen. I think they use that car too for when other characters are supposedly driving.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

Theres a strong chance they were made exclusively for the pilot and wont be seen again. Its often a case with such things that its not the 'vehicle' thats expensive to run, its hiring the 'talent' to perform the task!

I dont blame them for getting away with black outs where possible, not to mention they do look as sexy as heck!

I've gotten so busy with all the videos I have to make for you guys that I've been neglecting to point out the new ones that are up on the News Page. Make sure you've all watched my first behind the scenes look into episode 17 and with any luck I'll have some more up soon.

Also don't miss my interview with Steve Whiteside, he's the propmaster on the new KR and also worked on TOS. He's been giving them some great advice on what us TOS fans would love to see.

Thanks for all these interviews, they're really interesting. The writer girl seems a little...flighty, doesn't she? lol
