I got mine at the local Wal-Mart. You should be able to find them there. Or if you have a Target nearby, check there. My wife was there tonight and said they had a whole display of nothing but the BTTF Delorean.TurboBoostMan wrote:I havent seen the BTTF time machine yet. I have however seen regular silver DeLoreans. BTTF Delorean's are showing up here and there. KITT likely won't hits stores until the summer.

I despise Wal-Mart, so I never search there but I frequent Target on a bi-weekly basis and have seen nothing aside from regular HotWheels cars. Guess I'm gonna have to break down and hit my local Toys R Us for this stuff.

Mattel still won't be releasing KITT for a few weeks/months, but here's some good news.
Both the Batmobile and Ecto-1 (which came in a box that looked like a ghost trap!) were released as very detailed 1:64 scale San Diego Comic Con exclusives (See page 1 of this post). Well, this sneak-peak of the box shows that the same is happening with the Back To The Future Delorean. Hopefully, they'll do KITT at next years Con!!!!! True, most of us need to take the eBay route to get one of these SDCC exclusives, but it's still exciting news!

I personaly do not !!!!! belive in a KITT relese until I see it bymself. Hot Wheels will get problems with Universal to make this deal, it was always expensive and complicated with Knight Rider merchandise. So for me I do not have any I hopes in this car...looking forwars as well to get it but for me there is no realy big hope in the Hot Wheels KITT car. They made one before, and I will buy this one again for me...we see what the future brings

The deal between Mattel and Universal is done and has been for several months now. KITT will be a late 2011 release along with SEVERAL other Hot Wheels models.Josch Schulz wrote:I personaly do not !!!!! belive in a KITT relese until I see it bymself. I about had a heart attack a few weeks ago. I went into my local Wal-Mart and saw they have release all the New Models 1-38. According one of the posts at the beginning of the threat, KITT is number 39. But, alas, they stopped at 38. So he will hopefully be in the next release of New Models.

#39 is now the A Team van, with no KITT in sight.

Hey
Like I say, the problem is you have to get the license and even when the license is there....does not mean that you always get what you wants. I know there is these Hot Wheels Knight Rider from Japan, but Hot Wheels Japan and Hot Wheels US is not the same. Its like youtube. When you watch Hasselhoffs Looking for Freedom in Germany they say that the video is not avalible because its copyprotect by BMG USA. Well, that makes sense because it is "Made in Germany" and BMG Germany is BMG but like I say it is the same but does not mean the same. Bedder buy the Japan Hot Wheels KITT and KARR as long as possible...they are the bests....

KITT is no longer being produced by Mattel/Hot Wheels. It has been replaced with the A-Team van.

Why did I knew this before....I am having fun here License Problems...KITT is no longer being produced by Mattel/Hot Wheels. It has been replaced with the A-Team van.
Statement: Since years I never see any good model of KITT, always there is something wrong with the Toys, something is missing or whatever....and in these days whe they have the dang chance to make everything 100 % as best as possible...Universal kill it or some other dude somewhere in his chair gives up and never pick it up again....goosch they are not even in the little movment to produce a freakin 1982 Trans Am Toy in 1:18 or 1:24 Size like the Joyride KITT....nobody has the way to stand up and kick some ass. The Hell with these companys....we Fans would pay money for good Toys...when did they learn this It was the same with the Knight 4000, they where on the way to produce a Knight 4000 for the Star Car Collection from Matchbox....but nope...some dude kill the projekt...whatever
