1988 Pontiac Banshee in Back To The Future Part II

Post by PBH » Wed Oct 12, 2005 11:14 pm

I know that a Dodge Stealth ES was used in Knight Rider 2000, but the car that inspired its design was the1988 Pontiac Banshee concept car (See http://www.kr2k.com for details).

Anyhoo, I was on the site http://www.imcdb.org/index.php and came across the below photo from Back To The Future Part II. Thought it was a cool find. I'm a HUGE BTTF fan and never noticed it! ---> http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_11230-Pont ... -1988.html

Coincidentally, I found it while starting to look up the Trans Am :P

Yep. I always noticed it in both movies when I was younger.

Demolition Man is actually on the same page (http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Pontiac.html) right beside the BTTF II photo, but with a 'no photo available' under the title.

Beside that, it shows the Banshee as being in Knight Rider 2000! Someone needs to correct these guys.

The site had the Pontiac Banshee as being in Knight Rider 2000, but I sent them an e-mail to correct them to which they replied. They now have the 1991 Dodge Stealth ES as being in Knight Rider 2000, not the Banshee.
