Knight Rider in a Turkish advertisement series(with pics)

Post by KidlovingKitt » Wed Jul 27, 2005 3:32 am

A very popular Turkish comedian(he is really popular in Turkey) used "Knight Rider" in a Tv advertisement series which he made for a company...
One talking from this series:
Banu(they changed the "Bonnie" name to a Turkish name "Banu") introduced the watch, and she said that he can be able to communicate with Kitt with this watch.Michael wanted to test the watch:
Michael:"What time is it Kitt?"
Kitt:"The watch is on your arm"
Michael:"Nice,it is working"

I think he likes Knight Rider,he sometimes uses humors about Knight Rider in his stand-up shows...
Here are the links to a few pictures from this series

That car looks like an Eastern European produced vehicle to me. Somehow their styling is still stuck in time around the begining of the Cold War. :?
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

Thank you for your answer Gonzaloa

No one was making any comment about the movie,so it was annoying me,but now i understand why there is no comment about the movie, but hey,why didn't anyone write that there is a problem with the movie file? :)

I am trying to upload the file again, and i will test it about in 45 minutes(the site reached its maximum so i can't be able to test it now)
I will inform you when the file is ready...

Hi,

I tried the new link but I get this:

"Angelfire does not allow direct linking
from offsite, non-Angelfire pages,
to files hosted on Angelfire."

Yep, i downloaded it today. Works fine in IE6 using save as. When using Firefox, it displays the "Angelfire does not allow direct linking
from offsite, non-Angelfire pages,
to files hosted on Angelfire." page or saves a bad file if you use "save as".

As for the ad, it's a little strange but it's fun finding out how different nations see the same thing even though it's meant to be a jokey one and knight rider references are always good.

Have to say, i much prefer the real kitt though

As a bulgarian citizen I can say this is a Lada model ... the old ones -like from 25 years ago. The new new Lada 110 looks more like a car. Anyway, we have both all around here, though they don't have the scanner hehe. The 110's are taxis mostly. :\

Thanks for your answers

We know this car as "Murat 124" in Turkey, and it's written on the car as "Murat 124" too but in this ad it is not visible...:)
