nice job you all!! i made anoher post about gta san andreas and knight rider with a conversion of Phil´s model for san andreas by a french guy, but i really prefer the knightfan´s one.
Too, i hope to realice the making of a total conversion mod for San Andreas as i made for vice city ,when tools and helpers leave it do.

No there aren't simple converters. This has to do with the difference between the dff files (mesh files) VC and SA. For example: the collision file is now included in the dff and the reflection is specular highlight in SA.
For a modder who can handle Zmodeler converting isn't a very hard job, but making a conversion program is nearly impossible.

knightfan, where is your v6 version to download, needs col file to it?i installed another cars with imgtoll 2.0 and game crashes, why?

It is the SA-version of Phils KITT I suppose? I think you should contact the converter (don't know who it is BTW).
V6 is not ready yet. However, it is in the final stages. I can't give you a release date, as I am now studying on University and I don't know how much spare time I have. Expect a release in a few weeks.

Awesome models!
I'm planning on learning Blender. I been playing around with it recently and bought a book on it. One of my dreams is to model KITT and KARR in Blender (
http://www.blender.org - free for Linux and Windows - and VERY powerful, though has a steep learning curve). I want to model my OWN car in that program too, and maybe make some movies and stuff. Blender does animation very well, too.
I don't know what format that GTA and those types of games use though. I don't know if it's one Blender will save to.

Nope, as far as I know Blender can't save dff files. There might be a plugin for it, but I don't know.
What you can do is save the file in 3ds (I assume Blender can save in this 3dMax format), load it in 3Dmax or Zmodeler, and extract it to dff. So, it's required that you know how one of these programs work. I can recommend Zmodeler, as it's an easy, fast to learn, program.

Well, is ZModeler free? I can't afford more programs right now.
But I'll look at the dff thing sometime. At the moment I'm super-busy so I haven't had time to do any modeling. But, maybe I could email the Blender development team to think about either a plug-in or incorporating saving of dff...
