Southern States Conversionists Get Together
Hi,
I wanted to announce a get together of KITT/KARR conversionists in the Atlanta, Georgia area, Saturday, August, 20th. You don't have to have a conversion, or be working on one to attend. All are welcome. There will be several cars there in various stages, and a display of conversion parts, and door prizes.
If you're coming, or want to come, please post here, AND email me so I have a contact for you. I need to get a solid head count. The charge for attending will be a very reasonable $20.00 per person. This covers the rental of the meeting place, and refreshments. It will be 1:00 till 5:00 pm. This will give everyone plenty of travel time, and to eat lunch before you get there. After we break up at 5:00 pm, anyone not immediatly heading home, we could go somewhere nearby and have dinner.
Currently working on having a special guest speaker. Hopefully he can work out his schedule. Looking forward to meeting as many "Southern Knights" as possible. By the way, "Southern Knights" is what I have decided to name the event and the group. If people are interested, T-shirts could later be produced, but not in time for this get together. If anyone has any questions or suggestions, please let me know.

ARGH!!!
I need to check this place more frequently than 2 or 3 times a year...
If I had known about this last week I would have soooo driven over there Saturday for what may have been my only chance to ever see real, high quality conversions up close (and to meet some of you surely-as-deranged-as-myself fans...). I've got friends in Atlanta that I've been meaning to visit, anyway, so it would have been perfect, but no, I have to go and not stay on top of things and let it slip by under my radar...
Oh well - I hope it went well! Especially so that you can do it again next year, when I can actually make it, mwahaha...
