Episodes Where KITT Gets Destroyed

Post by TransAmKITT2000 » Sun Jan 02, 2005 12:12 pm

We all know that KITT gets destroyed 4 times in the series and he gets
major changes.Couldn't he get upgrades without being destroyed or
badly damaged? If he gets destroyed or badly damaged once would that
have worked for a major upgrade?

KITT always did get smaller upgrades, especially in season one. season two's upgrades didn't stay around, but most of Bonny's did.

Ah, lol, Aprils episode-long features....They were mighty convenient the episode they were conceived, and then never again.
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

wouldn't the end of golliath returns have been so much better if KITT and Michael had simply ran off the cliff, popped the parachute (i know they never had the chance to reinstall it but it's just a thought folks) watched Goliath plummett, and then once they hit the water the 3rd-stage-aquatic-synethiser (what a stupid name!!) coulda kicked in and they would've just sailed away! instead we get a badly edited climax that makes no sense as to why Garthe drove over the cliff when KITT was nowhere near!!

lololol!! glad to see i'm not the only one :D

i think it was meant to happen like this (from what i can gather!):
michael hits the grappling hook button.
the hook latches onto a rock.
goliath is almost upon them.
the wire tightens and they spin away from their path and stop just to the right of where they were heading.
garthe has no time to adjust, and they soar over the cliff.

instead, in the film, they turn right and THEN shoot out the hook, giving garthe plenty of time to adjust his steering but he doesn't. a badly edited climax to a poor movie.

i will also agree that climax was really badly edited and was very confusing.

but i did like GR. i love the chase scenes and it featured much more of goliath...something that the original didn't seem to live up to, it's title.

and yes, i do know GR featured bad model shots, phil!!
