Asking Permission For Use of KITT Smiley

Post by KnightRider2000 » Mon May 10, 2004 4:08 pm

Hey guys. I remember seeing KITT smilies (smiley face inside of KITT) on this website. I would like to ask if I can use a portion of that pic in my KARR GIF. The KITT will be one of KARR monitors. It is definitely the best image I’ve seen of KITT that fits my style (my style is Microsoft Paint, LOL). So I’m asking the owner, “can I please incorperate it into my GIF?

:kitt:

Is that the one you meant?

If so, then I was the one who made it fit knight rider, as it origianlly was just a smiley in a trans am. I say go right ahead, and thanks for asking. If you mean any of the other emoticons on this site, they are either aussieknight or myself. The better ones are aussieknights.

Thanks Neil, I just took the little smiley face out and cropped some of the car (to make it true to the scene). I think you guys will like the KARR GIF when it's done. Thanks again.

Neps - I like the avatar that Fuzziedice made with Kitt having two lights in his scanner that go back and forth - only one problem - even If I had permission from both of you - how would I get that to me my avatar here in this forum. I have to admit - when it comes to certain computer things - I am not to bright at all.

Go to the site where the avatar is located. Right click on the avatar and select "save target as" or "save picture as" then save the file on to your computer. Then go to your profile on KRO and scroll down to the avatar selection section. Then hit "Browse" and then select the saved file then "VOILA!" You have a new avatar, R.J.

Thanks, RJ. :)

I'm glad to see folks enjoy my avatars. :) I have been busy painting my apartment and still have one more room to go yet, plus Kitt (Pontiac 6000) needs major repair work and is going in the shop next week. And work is starting to get more challenging (but fun, as I enjoy what I do). Of course, I been trying to watch one KR episode from the DVD set almost each night. :) And visit with friends, etc. etc. There's been quite a lot going on so I haven't been adding more wallpapers or avatars, although I have been fielding requests as I can.

Knightman - You probably can use the avatars from my site at http://www.geocities.com/fuzziedice6000/ in just about any forum. I tried to be sure the file sizes were smaller. I've redone the animated ones recently so they are smaller than the ones I had on Knight Dreams. As for uploading them to this site, if Neil or Sith want, they can grab all the avatars they want from my site and upload them to their galleries here. I see no problems with that. :)

No prob. RJ :) And thanks to TurbomanKnight for helping with instructions. :) I see you got it uploaded ok. :) BTW, this scanner effect is known as the "Soul Survivor" effect, after the episode which it was shown in. I loved that episode and it is still my favorite one. I hope that Universal comes out with the other seasons because I would love to have that one and KITT vs KARR too of course. :)
