Welcome to the board. Cool pics. I've got the KITT and also the KARR mini-z RC cars myself but I haven't got around to adding the extra fog-lights which you've done. It looks really nice, but how much did that cost you? Did you also do the same with the rear light cluster, as I know that has the same light-fixing as the front.
Oh, I've also got the truck, see pics on my site (link within sig). Tell us how you got on with that.

hi, thx for the welcome
your truck looks great, just like mine, huhu. i'm planning to add an rc system to it. you've probably noticed that was possible.
i bought the truck & kitt on a japanese site: http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/
they were pretty cool & fast, i received my package 4 days after payment.
it costed me about 180 € for truck & kitt (readyset).
the tail lights don't look so real, i'll upload some pix on http://www.minizworld.com later tonight to show you.

hay the lights at the front look cool.
ive got the mini z car bodie and the truck.
my wife has them fir me for christmas...
the extra lights look cool...
im not to sure about making the truck into a r/c
do you have any lights on the truck?
i dont think i will be making the kitt bodie into a r/c car because i
will be making a scene with the truck and the body and putting them in a display case....
what i do also have for christmas is he taiyo r/c kitt in the tube so that kind of replaces the need to have the mini z r/c.
look forard to seeing pics of the truck...
also welcome dood....

I'm pretty sure you can mount a RC system in the truck. Look at the picks of the truck on the box, one shows gearing on the rear axle. This is confirmed by the huge amount of space left at the rear and the asymetric design of the rear axle. I think you could mount the batteries in the cabs rear, they only needed to be AAA as I expect that only a mini-z type RC system can be used.
Oh brennan, if your worried about damaging the mini-z bodies, you can get spare bodysets with extra wheels for around £20 from hlj.com for both KITT and KARR. I have KARR as a spare and it looks nice as a model. The bodyset also comes with the strobe lights, which can be switched on without the need of the mini-z chassis.
