If KITT was for sale do you think that they would sell him with all the powers he had? How muck do you think he would cost?

In California, registration fees are based upon a percentage of the purchase price of a vehicle. So if you were to buy KITT, you could get hit with a bill for $100,000 just to pick up the license plate!

Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

As I fellow California resident as well Michael, I agree it would be mighty expensive. If Arnie don't fix our tag situation any time soon, I'm gonna have to register my TA out of state. I refuse to pay close to $400 on tags, let alone $100,000!!
KITT project is on again!

I doubt the government would ever let a vechile like KITT to be sold, and because of that, it would be a unique item that would cost a high ticket.

Lol this just brings a funny cartoon to mind... To get this funny cartoon about KITT being sold at a used car lot, go to

http://www.knightindustries.co.uk/

and select downloads, then Knight Rider Animated... It opens in your browser! lol Its very funny the first time you see it! Its only like 2 minutes long, but a great 2 minutes it is!

If they were selling KARR, he'd be real cheap compared to KITT.

I highly doubt the government would allow that. They would suspect that you would misuse KITT's systems and do something against the law. Pretty much everything KITT does would be against the law.

Id rather have KITT than KARR. KARR would be much more dangerous because he doesnt understand everything that KITT does and he doesnt protect human life. Plus with a car like KITT running around with MBS he would be nearly invincibal. I dont think that the Gov. would want to send an 60 ton M1A!1 tank everytime something went wrong.
