The Ultimate KARR Toy Robot!
I was reading some stuff at RoboCommunity.com and found someone linked to this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZH3ijj-dfLE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's the Ultimate Bumblebee robot from the Transformers. He can move, transform into car form, has sound effects, etc. Pretty neat!
Now if they would make one of KARR, that also automatically transforms, is remote control, and can move around on his own...!!!

Re: The Ultimate KARR Toy Robot!
Oh,so is that how many parts had to be used to turn kitt from attack mode to normal mode.
I now realize why we have yet to see a universal studios endorsed kitt transformer to attack mode.Kids wode go balistic trying to ransform it.
Wonder if anyone would be crazy enough to make their mustang transform into attack mode kitt at the push of a button.Then again as ugly as itends up,why would they ever want to lol.

taoworm - I hope you're thinking what I am! I already have a petition for WowWee to build a better bot or bring back two of their best (see bytebin.net/robotics/rsmedia for more info).
Do you build bots? Maybe you could make a KARR? Then we could peititon to have it built! We'd have to get NBC to agree first, obviously. But that would be SO neat!
I hope we get a second season and we see KARR return!

Yeah I build bots too. And you read my mind. The only issue I see is getting a larger mold of the mustang. It wouldn't be that hard to then make some resin casts of the mustang and rework the electronics and frame some and retro fit that to the bumble bee frame.
But...that would be the hard way.
There is an easier way.

Keep working on it! You just might make a KARR! If you ever do, please post video!
Bioloid kits are SO expensive though. I think I'd be more inclined to save up for an NXT Mindstorms kit (which I hope to get eventually). Still expensive but really cool. I haven't got into building bots. I just hack them right now. In fact, I have a petition to bring back the RoboSapien RS Media and V2 models, or get WowWee to build a bot that has a combination of the two bots features: http://www.gopetition.com/online/26873.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm working with the RS Media right now. I do have hopefully a V2 on the way as I won one in auction over the weekend. I also have electronics parts on the way and hope to be working with learning (and re-learning) electronics as well.
Robotics is a fascinating hobby! And with some bargain shopping, I've been able to get some bots at deep discount. When I saw the KARR transformer, naturally I thought it'd be so cool to make a real one!

I am going to work on this in May Fuzzie Dice. I will let you know then here and at the robot forums.
Have fun with your RS media. Those are fun!

Re: The Ultimate KARR Toy Robot!
Cool! Keep us posted!
I got the RS Media around Christmas. He's been around awhile. I also just got the V2 yesterday and he's doing well too!
Can't wait to see a KARR bot! Even if it doesn't transform into a car, (but would be nice if it did), it would be awesome to see!
