yeah they definitely have to lay off the Transformers stuff now! But, you could bring Ryan Arrow back by saying he got down into the lead basement before the blast, and he could have survived and could be a future bad guy. If the show lasts........................

Hands down the best episode yet. I was entertained throughout. My only issues were in the times of crisis the remarks by zoe and billy don't fit... They sound downright stupid and out of place.

I really like the kitt dying scene the way they played it.

Way to many countdowns to extinction on this show. always saving the day with one second on the clock.

The kitt cave exploding would have been a perfect way to get rid of all the extra cast. WOuld have brought a darker vibe to the show as well.

One thing I finally realised was Mike don't seem to have any dialog with anyone who is not sara or Kitt. Does anyone notice this. I'm sure it will change in the reboot.

I don't like the pulse charge thing.... I dunno, The lazer looks kinda cheezy as well but it should probally look cheezy.

NOw the real question is can NBC really promote this show or has the damage been done already.

Ya! I want to see more commercials!!!! NBC has to get it through there thick skulls that taking a series off the air for a month does nothing but make people think its gone!!! Reruns or commercials people c'mon!!!!!

I just can't believe the used that pop machine shot in it though. Somebody watched transformers way to many times!!! Be original!!!!

Apparently none of you have seen Stephen Kings Maximum Overdrive. More than 20 years BEFORE transformers.

I loved that episode. the best one by miles. a few slip ups though.

Didn't Knight of the living dead just take just the zoe impostor to start and stop the detonation? So why did it take both Torres and Rivai to start and stop this one? Also they changed hands in the shut down.

Love the scripting for KITT - in theory I am sorry!

Man, did we get an episode last night or what! This is in my opinion, far better than even A Hard Days Knight. The story, the chase scenes, all the characters had depth!! ALL OF THEM!!! There is not one thing I even want to complain about, seriously. And the way the story was being told, I almost felt like this story was going to be a two-parter.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Knight Fever. It made my last night of 2008 great!

In "Knight of The Living Dead", the Zoe imposter had to stop the self destruct of KITT,
but in "Knight Fever", Rivai and Torres had to stop the self destruct of the KITT Cave.
A much bigger self destruct that required two people's hands to start and/or stop.

All in all, definitely one of the better eps of the series so far. Pity it ended up being
shown on New Years Eve night, when there's likely to be more people out partying,
rather than being in on a regular Wednesday evening in winter, watching TV.

I thought this episode was sooo amazing. Poor KITT thought he was gonna die for the 2nd time. It made me feel sorry for him. I'm sure there is very few who could complain about this episode! It was so great! I just can't describe it, it was just that good. I can't wait until the rest of the episodes, they sound really awesome too! KARR definitally looks interesting. Oh I just can't wait 6 more days and then another 7 to finish the entire episode, because it is a 2 parter. It is a 2-parter right? Have a happy 2009 everybody! I am going to take this chance to try to be as positive as possible, that is my new year uh...what's that word...gosh darn it! I'm sure you all know what I mean. Maybe I shouldn't have stayed up so late...LOL! TTYL everyone!

I just re-watched part of the episode... maybe it was just an error but.. did anyone see how pissed off Charles looked after the self sequence was aborted looking at the timer...??? its as if he wanted SSC destroyed? Or like I said..could just be overanalyzing and a bad timing of the camera.

Just went through the teaser for whats to come, and looks like the huge KR have been blacked out on the bottom of the car in the turbo boost. This would be another move in the right direction!

Does anybody know when can we check the ratings? I'm curious how many people watched it without any promotion + New Year's eve. :D

Hi. Newb here [to the board anyway]. I've been over at the NBC KR board since the launch of the 2008 series, and I learned of your site through one of the other members.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this episode. Good mix of action and humor. And as far as the plot went, I think it was a good move to make it episode 9 instead of episode 2. It's a good lead-in to the return of KARR.

Adios for now.

Human: The whole sorry for killing Dr. Arrow
Machine- When they tell kitt to destroy the house, he so\rta silently obeys

Cool- there's someone else my age on this board! :D

Yes I'm getting up there in age. But I feel pretty cool about it.

Unlike a lot of other KR fans, I saw TOS when I was a young adult, not a little kid. I was a punk rocker though. [Would have been a "bad guy" on NBC back then].

Probably not until tomorrow due to it being New Year's Day. I'm expecting the rating to be terrible, I'll certainly be surprised if it even comes close to a what the last three episodes got.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

The movie "Shrek 2" put ABC on top at 8 p.m. with a modest 3.2/6. A "Bones" repeat on FOX earned a 2.8/5, edging NBC's "Knight Rider" (2.7/5). CBS was right behind, averaging 2.6/5 with repeats of "Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried." The CW aired the movie "How to Deal."

not great, but not terrible.

For not even being advertised and not being on in several weeks I'd say those are great!
