Is Knight Rider a GO? Gaining Speed!
Well according to SciFi website, Slyfy Portal , it would seem its very likely. I wont be making a habit of posting stuff from some random news site but i thought this was worth mentioning to those who really did enjoy the pilot NBC laid down to us in Feb. The site is quoted as saying
"As far as "Knight Rider" is concerned, NBC was pretty impressed with its ratings overall last month.
"Sources say the network is in talks with a showrunner who is familar with NBC primetime, which suggests a regular series order is likely," Hibberd said."
So do take this with a LARGE pinch of salt, but it looks somewhat promising. On the day the ratings were good for NBC. Watch this space, and one last thing to add, NO i don't know when its coming on over here... when i do find out you guys will be the first to know.

NBC and Dutch Oven are in talks with a well-established NBC showrunner to take the reins of KR. Nothing is confirmed yet; any official announcement will come in April. Personally, I think this person would be a good fit, but it's too early and too tenuous to be more specific than that.

They are a production company working inside the TV and Film business.

Dutch Oven is the production company that produced the KR pilot. They will produce the potential series, as well.
A showrunner, as the title describes, runs the show. He oversees the writers, and coordinates the writers' vision with the rest of the production. He's basically the quarterback. Often he's the show's creator, but that obviously not the case here.

I have to admit I'm not surprised that new KR being a GO. I figured it would come to that with the ratings being so good.
