to tell you the truth, i used to completely hate knight rider until this summer. My brother born december of 82, and my older brother ,nov 80, always have watched the show. when i was born and about 5, i used to make fun of my brothers, wo owuld occasionally punhc me for them reasons. I used to tape over all their old KR tapes with Scooby-Doo, just to annoy them. Then, one day when my brother came home from college, he found Goliath 1 and 2. I was laughing at him and making fun of him. Your sittign their drooling over a talking car. He beat me up so bad and i was just laying on my couch while he turned Golith on and started watching it. I had to watch it and after the middle of the second part, i found myself drooling over a talking car too. I also turned on Sci-Fi to watch the x-files, and Knight Rider was on after it. Oh boy how i cheered. I called my brother and told him. he said he had been watchign it on sci-fi for about 2 runs of it. so, i started taping from the latest run, and now those communists are gonna get rid of knight rider in January

I actually feel kind of embarrased to expose my love of knight rider in school. So I dont get to know what other knight rider fans are there on my school.

I am starting to think that I need to open my own school for all Knight Rider fans. I use Knight Rider to teach my students, and it seems to work. :)

People that are younger than me dont seem to like knight rider at all. I mean people that are like 10 years old.

It goes in cycles, actually a few years ago, I remember a few of the 16 year olds or so complaining that nobody else liked Knight Rider. They moved on, and the next age group came up, with those who do, and those who don't.

I'm going on an assumption here, so I appologize if I am wrong..

Sci-Fi should be thanked or hated the recent reintrest by new fans. It seems that there is a large group at the mid twentys age, whom are probably orignal viewers or USA viewers. And now a large group of 15-16 yr olds who probably found Knight Rider via Sci-Fi.

In between the ages of 16-24 there seems to be a bit of a gap between probably because Knight Rider wasn't aired on a wide audience station during that time. Would the ages of 16 and younger then be the maxium age of exposure, because once they pass that level their capacity to enjoy Knight Rider is lost? I wonder if anyone above 17 has just been introduced into Knight Rider and accepts it without question?

When someone said that Knight Rider was 'a show like Street Hawk' (which was popular then), I had some idea. A few others then said it's a black car with a strip of red lights in front, that talks. One day, I turned on a local channel to watch it. At that time, it was not treated well at all. It was not on a cable channel, so the transmission was not clear. What's more, the 30-minute episodes were what they were showing. The series was taken off at the end of Season 1. I wasn't really interested then. The cable channels were showing Automan (for the first time) and Street Hawk (after a long time), which was quite good. That was in 1995-96.

Now, long after I had forgotten about KR, Auto and SH, I saw a familiar black car, with who could be David Hasselhoff in it. Soon, I saw- and heard- the car talk. After a VERY long time, it IS Knight Rider! That was "Hearts of Stone". After that, I watched every episode aired. Thankfully, the cable channel didn't cut the episodes short.

Knight Rider comes six times a week here. Every day, except Sunday. The channel does deserve praise for having brought it back and getting it on air almost everyday. But still, why they leave out the pilot and the next 2 episodes (at least this time) is a mystery. Just as much as why they have to air Halloween Knight only on Halloween, out of normal order, but not Silent Knight on Christmas.
