Will it be back on after the Battelstar Galactica marathon?

Petition

I'm asking if someone from this site can make a petition to keep Knight Rider on. I know that most of the people on this site will sign it. Please, I know every member of this site probably watches the show and does not want it of. Thank You.

I have to ask one thing here....where did you get this information? The schedulebot hasn't even switched over yet, it is still showing November and December, not December and January.

I don't see anywhere on the sci-fi site that says that KR is off in January. Could you tell me where you got that information?

Yeah, I think KR is coming back after the Battle Star Gallactica. Petitions sometimes work with other tv stations likes Fox, but Sci-Fi is a differnt story. Odds are when Star Trek went off the air another forum just like this probably posted a petition. Even if Knight Rider was going off the air it probably wouldn't work, but it is a long shot and I'm sure if KR really was going off the air, I'm sure a petition would be sent in by us wouldn't work, unless its an special series that is voted on, on another series. Maybe my idea of a 24 hour Knight Rider channel will make it to the airwaves :o...................

A good suggestion I think would be when your favorite show comes back on the air. Tape it! Because it won't be on forever...I was so upset when USA pulled KR. In fact I heard that back in the 80's many people got VCR's just so they could tape Knight Rider. lol

Yes, KR is coming on after Battlestar Galactica, the evidence has been in this page, and the schedulebot also shows it as such.

Nice, Very nice! I have to save that one :) Good work! How do you get a file off your drive or does it have to be online?

So will Knight Rider be taken off of sci-fi in January or not? I just want to know if I can still see later episodes I missed before (like KITT VS KARR). If they pull the plug on it, I pretty much saw all that I'll get to.

It will be off the schedule in January. Hopefully it's temporary. They have the rights for another three more years or so.

I get advanced schedules from networks. You can see my work at mortystv.com, classictvhits.com, and the message boards at sitcomsonline.com

I guess you don't remember me? I was the one who reported last year that KR was coming to Sci-Fi. I emailed neps about it. Flashback: http://www.knightrideronline.com/phpbb/ ... .php?t=646

I think I'll stick with the schedulebot if you don't mind, since I know them a little better, and since their schedules for January should come out tomorrow, and have been known to change from pre-release to actual release.

If you are right, then it was a great run, and sci-fi doesn't do any better to petitions than any other network. We should be happy that it got two and a half runs on Sci-Fi. It wasn't going to run forever, and when it comes down to it, they still program by ratings return, we can't help that not enough people were watching. Eventually, they will bring it back. If they take it off at all.

Well They may change KR to weekends instead of weekdays.

I don't understand something here. People on here say they got copies of every KR episode there is. And yet, they talk as if it's a shame it will be going off Sci-Fi. Why does it matter that you can't watch it on TV when you can see it anytime uncut and without commercials?

I really don't need to see exactly every single episode. I pretty much have seen the really important episodes that have something spectacular occur. The only ones I haven't seen that I still would like to are KITT VS KARR, THE SCENT OF ROSES, THE WRONG CROWD, and KILLER KITT.

A few reasons why we want to see KR stay on Sci-Fi:

1. It's an indication that the show is still popular.
If the show does well, they'll try to keep it on the air. (However, contracts may expire so just because a show gets taken out of rotation doesn't mean it did poorly.)

2. It creates new fans.
Some people are discovering Knight Rider for the first time on Sci-Fi. A large fan base is good for all of us.

3. It's good background noise.
I sometimes watch Knight Rider at work. I don't want to bring tapes back and forth from home, so it's nice to just have it coming in over the cable.

4. We want other fans to enjoy the shows.
Not everyone can watch any episode at any time, so we're happy for other people on the board who get the chance to see the episodes again.

I haven't seen every episode and didn't even know what that show was actually about til I saw it on Sci-Fi this summer. Before then, I could only vaguely remember images of KITT being driven around and the driver being named Michael.

I would like it to stay on because that is the only way I can see it. But I still don't need to see every episode there is. Those episodes I mentioned above I would like to see. And I could only do that if it is not taken off. I would like to see more episodes as well, cause the more you see the better you know the show.

I was only asking why do people who have the episodes and can stick them on anytime need to watch it on TV where they are cut and have commercials?

We don't NEED to watch it on Sci-Fi. But I gave you 4 reasons why we still want it to stay on the air.

Well, I just hopped on over to the Scifi schedulebot.

This isn't going to be pretty.

The topic is correct. There is no sign of Knight Rider on the schedule for the month of January. I do apologize to pavanbadal for doubting them, but you do have to understand that we like to have a verification on such things from the source, specifically on matters like this.

But it is true, there is no Knight Rider on Sci-Fi's schedule for January.

Well, so much for getting to see KITT VS KARR. When I finally saw TRUST DOESN'T RUST a few weeks ago, I finally felt like I knew what KARR actually was. Any idea when it'll be brought back after the Battlestar Galactica marathon?

It's not the Battlestar Galactica marathon taking it off, Jordan. Sci-fi just took it completely off the schedule for the month of January. It says above that Knight Rider will be back on in December on Dec. 8th.
