"One woman can make a difference."

Hi folks,
Here's a fun question I want to ask.

Let's imagine that when KR was being developed, Glen decided that it should be a woman behind the wheel.

Which actress, famous or unknown, would you have picked to play the part of K.I.T.T.'s driver?

And what would the character name have been? Michelle Knight? Or something else?

Let me hear your answers and your choices. This is all hypothetical I know but that's what forums like this are for-to ask hypothetical questions. I'll see what you come up with before I give my answers.

You want an actress from the 80's? or from any era?

How about Stephanie Zimbalist? (Remington Steele). She was good looking, could play up light comedy and had enough fire in her to keep KITT and Devon on their toes and tires.

Considering the E! true holywood story I saw today, I would say that up and coming new sensation Demi Moore would have been perfect if we're talking from a 1982 time frame.

She was wild enough and had a thing for leather in those days :)!

Yes, an actress from the 80's or late 70's. Those are your choices, mate. And pick an actress that is either in her mid to late 20's or early 30's.

Some good choices there folks. Now here's mine...

Don't laugh...

Faye Grant

For those that don't know, she's been in various TV roles such as Julie Parrish in V, a guest spot in an Incerdible Hulk episode called 'Slaves' and various movie roles.

As for the character, I'd have called her Sarah Knight (originally Sarah Long). Sarah Knight has a certain ring to it.

That's actually a good choice, Faye Grant did a really good job as Dr. Julie Parrish on "V". She was tough, yet sweet and likable at the same time. She was attractive, yet not distracting supermodel type.

But if I remember correctly, Faye Grant was also doing a show at the time called "The Greatest American Hero", so she would not have been available. Her recurring part on Hero was small, but when you also add that in that same era of 1982, 1983 she was also filming the "V" mini-series then she certainly would not have had time for KR.

Kim Cattrall could have played a female driver, as could have Heather Locklear.

Yes, Heather Locklear would have been a good choice. I always enjoyed here in T.J. Hooker and Dynasty. I can just picture her at the helm of K.I.T.T. with her long flowing hair and her cute little smile and her gorgeous...erm, I'm going off-topic here aren't I? Just hearing the name brought back memories of her.

Kim Cattrall? Another good choice, I liked her early movies and her appearances in Police Academy and Mannequin.

what about Patricia MacPherson playing Michelle Knight and David Hasselhoff playing Buddy Barstow.

Hasselhoff pulled the nerd look off quite well in Knight in retreat. :D

ROTFLMAO! I had thought of the Patricia McPherson part, but Buddy Barstow -- that's hilarous. I can't see Hasselhoff playing someone named Buddy though. It just doesn't seem to fit.

So what would have happened when Hasselhoff got fired, and got replaced, who would replace him? Abe Curtis, portrayed by Don Johnson? ;)
