Big Iron.

Post by whet » Thu Mar 13, 2003 7:49 pm

After Micael and Kitt survive being buried alive and they give chase to the FWD kitt slow's down Saying"I'm trashed"
What happened to repair the problem it was one of those that arn't exsplaned.
I guess we must just assume alough April was not present in the episode she must have fixed it, after all she was talked about a couple of times, so it could be possable.

i'm not sure what you mean, but if you're talking about his self diagnostic system, it wasn't present till s3 i think.

and kitt got trashed in the desert. with nothing around them. i'm sure the flag semi/HQ were hundreds of miles away.

it was up to michael n kitt to take care of themselves.

Actually, I think what whet is trying to say is that somehow, the damage that KITT was experiencing after they got out of being buried alive suddenly got fixed. They were trying to chase the truck once they were out, and KITT started to slow down.

Most likely the problem was relieved by just running himself out, going back into town.

I have to say that this episode was rediculous  The only scene that made it worth seeing was MK and KITT being buried alive and their struggle to get out.

And yet, the struggle to get out from being buried alive was one of the corniest scenes in the series.

Haha so true, especial MK's cackle/girly scream as they were flying out of there, I mean I'd be happy too, to be able to make it out, I just don't think I would make a sound like that.

Thank you!! I am so glad that I am not the only one who thinks that Michael sounded like a psycho female when he emitted that scream when he got out! I mean, I am female, and I have never ever made a sound like that, even when I am joyous, relieved, or scared out my mind!! Every single time he lets that thing fly, I end up laughing almost as hard as I did during the end fight of Goliath.

also something i dont understand, when kitt is "trashed" in his own words, after they get out of the quarry, how is it that he is fine in the next scene when its apparant that april didnt come to the rescue to fix kitt?

oh well, i cant wait till 5:00 tonight, one of my favorite episodes is on, knight of the drones (gotta love thunderbirds with rockets, even if they are only 84 elans)

Though its not mentioned by name one could argue that its used in season 1 also. Kitt technically would have had to use it to diagnosis his alpha circuit after He and Kitt tow Robin Ladd's car. But yes its definitely mentioned by name in Ring of Fire. Oh and Bonnie uses it herself in Season 3 to diagnosis Kitt before she rebuilds him in Knight of the Drones. As she hooks Kitt up to that little white box thingy that comes down from the ceiling of the semi she says "Thankfully your self diagnostic systems are still intact, lets see what the damage is"
