Oh my this was a real heart-wrencher. It's a Karr love story by Alexandra Spar on http://www.fanfiction.net titled "Waiting for You" It's a real sobber :cry: I'm terrible with hyperlinks so if anyone can get the direct link please post it.

Yea I read it yesterday. Nearly bawled my eyes out, in a public computer lab no less :( good story though, loved it.
