Season 3 working dashboard questions

I found a graphic of the season 3 dash:

I was wondering what everyone's hooked it up to so that the meters and indicators on there actually work instead of just look pretty.

The compass, I can tell, just hook it up to a compass or GPS.

Speedometer Panel:
Mi/Trip/Range - odometer, tripmeter, and range left in the tank; has anyone actually set this up to work correctly?
signal/tuning - ?
lo, hi, uhf, vhf, etc - ?
number things at the bottom - ?

RPM Panel:
inlet °F ?
egt °F ?
fuel gals - fuel gauge
oil °F - oil temp gauge that everyone has in the car
oil PSI?
fuel flow gph?

Extra panel:
vdc ?
amp ?
aux power ?
attack / sust / delay / del; program no. -?
power / normal / auto/pursuit - just lights with the real buttons elsewhere, or real buttons?

I'm looking into starting a season 3 dashboard KITT with an LCD touchscreen that has GPS, and mp3 playback, video game emulator, SSD and bluetooth integration for wireless calling, maybe include Windows 8/9 for using Skype for video calling. Basically, if I drop as much cash as the KITT replica hobby requires, I want to make sure that every gauge is doing something that makes some sense.

The next question is - what's the overhead console in season 3 look like?

Thirdly - the lower console, what all have you hooked into it aside from door/window controls?

And finally, how do you handle AC/heating in KITT? Doesn't the dash cover the vents and make it hard to cool off on a hot day? Does defrost work normally? Despite being a replica car, it should be functional if I'm going to go with it.

This is what the season 3 overhead console looks like.

I've also included a clear shot of the lower console.

It's fun to try to think what some of those lights might mean:

Speedometer Panel:
signal/tuning - ?
Maybe a signal strength for mobile phone or wireless internet, wlan?

lo, hi, uhf, vhf, etc - ?
Headlights, hi beam. Uhf / Vhf for the radio?

number things at the bottom - ?
Total mileage and text messages.

RPM Panel:
inlet °F ?
Temperature at inlet manifold.

egt °F ?
Exhaust Gas Temperature? Electricity Generator Temperature?

fuel gals - fuel gauge

oil °F - oil temp gauge that everyone has in the car

oil PSI?
Oil pressure.

fuel flow gph?
Metering how much fuel goes into the injectors or reading from airflow sensor or MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor)?

Extra panel:
vdc ?
Voltage Direct Current?

amp ?
Amperage?

aux power ?
Auxiliary power, whatever that would be, if KITT is a hybrid, I guess it would be electrical power added to the gasoline engine?

attack / sust / delay / del; program no. -?
I have no idea about this except it brings Commodore 64 SID soundchip in my mind, it had so called ADSR envelope (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) which manipulated the sound coming from the chip.
Maybe this along with the program number was something Bonnie needed to calibrate & fix KITT's systems ;)

power / normal / auto/pursuit - just lights with the real buttons elsewhere, or real buttons?
Maybe lighted buttons with very short moving distance, like a millimeter or two?

Interesting note, not much changed between season 3 and 4 on the overhead console.Only change I could see is instead of more red lights for the front visor part, they used collored buttons with tiny bulbs in them that would light up when pressed.
