Post by slowride02 » Sat Mar 10, 2012 8:18 pm

Walked into my painter's shop today to find he had gotten a good start on my KItt...Its an 85 T/A with a fresh 350 TPI engine, 700R4 tranny and posi rear end, all the replacement door/t-top seals will be here early next week and so will the new nose...Excited I wanted to show the world! Steve

I bought the car for only $500 in '07, Clean title and perfectly straight body, with only 85K miles. It had sat behind a barn for over 10 years and was saved from going to the scrapper. The 305 was tired so I recently swapped in a fresh rebuilt 350 TPI with only 5k miles from a wrecked 88 Formula, and rebuilt the 700r4 and posi rear end. Also I have been aquiring all the neccessary 15" wheels, caps, scanner, hood and rear hatch over the last couple of years because my intention since day one was to do a conversion.
As far as the interior I have a complete 82 tan interior with PMD's ready to go in, and hopefully if i have any money left after paint then soon I will look in to a dash and electronics.

I sure am having the most fun with this car getting it to where i want it I hope to see you all in May I just got my tickets for Vegas!
