David Hasselhoff on Richard & Judy Show

Post by Sith » Tue Jul 20, 2004 12:12 pm

Wednesday 20th July. (tomorrow)

5pm on Channel 4 in the UK.

I managed to get hold of someone at the studio, so I've sent along a load of questions that they may use during the show.

Here's hoping. :)

*****UPDATE*****

Ok, here is the full 11 minute interview in Quicktime format.

My gf just pointed that out to me 5 mins ago on MSN lol. I'm gonna watch it, it'll be interesting to hear what he has to say, especially if they talk about the movie.

There will also be a K.I.T.T. their tomorrow, owned by none other than Rob Pearson who works over at the KRUK, so I’m guessing they'll be doing something with David and K.I.T.T. on the show as well. I'm sure many of you will agree that it should be absolutely awesome. :D

Sith, do you think you might be able to get a copy of the show to host my friend?

I'll give it a go.

But my TV signal for Channel 4 is dreadful. Doubt it would be very viewable in an MPEG. But lets see.

I'll post a summary as soon as it finishes though.

From what I gather, he's mostly talking about his part in Chicago though.

I heard that it was mostly going to be about Chicago as well, but with Rob taking his replica there tomorrow, they must have something Knight Riderish planned for the show, even if it’s only him entering in K.I.T.T. like he did for that German show a while back. Hopefully, Richard and Judy will bring up the movie as well, as it'd be nice to hear anything new that he might have to say about it. :)

I wonder if David will pop up on other show whilst he is here??

It's usaly the case someone appears on not just one show but 2 or 3.

I guess it depend's how busy David is and how long before he goes back to the state's!

Ok... he spoke mostly about Baywatch.

There was a bit about Chicago, where he sang...

And a bit of KR at the end, including him driving to the studio in Rob's KITT. Quite cool :D

Nothing on the movie at all.... *sigh*

Video to follow, if I can get the filesize down.

well, the interview pretty much sucked. there were a couple of clips from the pilot that they showed, along with them showing hasselhoff driving the KITT he apparently owns although they lied, considering it was the replica.

yeah, it was just him mostly going on about the success of baywatch and his role in Chicago, which looked so cheesy with the clip they showed of that. hasselhoff can sing but that was pretty cringy, IMO. :P

Hi Giys,

I know the show wasn't what anyone wanted, we all wanted more KITT and info on the movie, but The Richard & Judy show is a afternoon chat show, not mainstream and a major reason was that Davids management did not want the KITT car or too focus to much on Knight Rider or Baywatch. Davids people told me yesterday that the interview was set up in order to promote Chicago, and anything diverting away from that was not doing the job that the interview was set up for, The studio got KITT to turn up without asking Davids managementm this is why they only showed David and KITT only for a couple of seconds. I hope Rob had a good time though, as i know, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Vinny
