The scene where we see Garthe chasing Michael & KITT in his Mercedes, ending with Garthe being lured into the semi, was filmed on the well used location of Templin Highway.

I'd been looking for the location of the aftermath of Michael & KITT's duel with Goliath for awhile now. Finally found it.

The distinctive mountain line in the background confirms it as being the approximate location of the scene where Michael & KITT are lured into the trap, but also the location of the aftermath of their duel with Goliath.



Filmed on the Newhall Film Ranch in Valencia, the location of many a Knight Rider episode.

I'm correct in thinking that David Hasselhoff played a double role in this episode as both Knight & Garth, correct?

Indeed he did, Tony. In fact, I reckon that David really got to cut loose as Garthe Knight in those episodes.
