The back end is just so wrong. LOL! The voice was about the closest immitation I've heard yet, though. Pretty neat! :)

I'd rather see the back end than the front with that mustache spoiler on K.I.T.T.'s nose any day!

Anyway, very nice. It's nice to see a clip that isn't poking fun at the show. I'm also surprised they made the dashboard as accurate-looking as they did. Of course it's the old one, but better than a completely made up hybrid or something.

Hey that was a pretty cool clip! It is nice to see they weren't really making fun of the show for once.

"I have yet to perfect the peel out."

Sorry I just thought that line was funny.

That one doesn't have the moustache spoiler does it? The back end is just strange why do people have the urge to write knight rider on the back and some painted taillights. It does look like the KITT with the moustache spoiler though cause it has the same rear.

It is in fact the K.I.T.T. with the spoiler welded to the front nose. The pictures that were on this site a few months back were of the auction that George Barris had when he sold many of his star cars. At that time, the car still had an incorrect dashboard and rims. After the car was sold at the auction, the car was upgraded with the accurate turbo cast rims and "Bowling Ball" hubcaps. Other modifications like the dashboard were also done to the car specifically for The Benchwarmers.

You think with the modifications they actually did do, they could have taken the time to get rid of the SPM stuff and that stupid moustache spoiler. :?

Thanks for telling me that Lost Knight I thought it was the same one and they have actually put on the dashboard I wonder how they did it. Have they taken off the front spoiler I see no reason for it.

The car was only modified on the outside with news rims and caps.
The nose with the wing on it is still there as well as all the goofy SPM
parts. The rims were the only addiditon to the car as it was seen in the
Nick and Jessica special. The did go in and ad a new dash and wheel
for the film. (no pods) They also added a lot of frame rails and skid
plates on the bottm (for obvious reasons) You can see them when
he is riding the curbs.

Wow!

thanks for the clip.

I might go watch this movie just for that bit!

It would have been nice to have a replica, but then again, the guy's a billionaire. He could make a KITT replica any way he wanted.

Considering that's the only Super Pursuit Mode replica ever built that I know of, I guess it's better than nothing. I just wish Barris would have gone all out on it instead of just the back end. I don't see the point in only doing half the job that was once done...

SPM was always coolest at night, too bad they didn't hook him up with some red lighting like in the show as well...

The clip cuts off KITT's dialogue, it will be interesting to see what else he says and if he shows up any other time in the film...

The only good thing about them using this car is that they used it at night, jeesh. You can't tell the front spoiler or the sides unless you are looking for it, its the rear shot that really breaks it for me.

Still cool to see Knight Rider envied, rather than mocked.

the front nose doesn't look flat, it looks just like it should, unless it's not that clear for me on my pc, the only thing that looks differnt is the SPM and "Knight Rider" on the back, but the nose looks right.

It's hard to see, but there is definitely a spoiler strapped on to it, it appears to be shorter than the usual rear spoiler, but it's definitely there...

Well, the movie is finally opening this weekend!

The new commercial for the movie on TV now actually shows a quick shot of KITT from the side with the guys standing next to it, you can see from about the driver's door back... Pretty cool!

If you look closely, the car was fitted with a full undercarriage skid
plate. They didn't harm it at all. But yeah, that looked like it would be hard
on the chassis!

So, who has seen the movie? Did KITT show up any more times in the movie?
