Knight Rider - Michael and K.I.T.T. welcome Bonnie Back In Season 3
Posted by David Lambert

Knight Rider - Season 3 has finally been announced, with the studio providing a January 31st release date. "Bonnie" (Patricia McPherson) returns to the cast after taking the previous season off...just in time to give K.I.T.T. a much-needed repair job and a technology upgrade as well. This set, which fans have been anxious for since last April's release of the second season, will sell for $49.98 SRP and come on 3 double-sided DVDs. The show will be presented in the original full frame video and with original English mono sound. Subtitles are in English, French, and Spanish.

Running just under 18 hours, this set has 21 episodes, including the double-length season opener "Knight of the Drones". Other hot episodes this season were "K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.", "Knight In Disgrace" and "Junk Yard Dog". Guests included the NFL's Jim Brown, plus Jared Martin, Terri Treas, Jean Hasselhoff, Jason Bateman, Alan Oppenheimer, Christopher McDonald, James Cromwell, Randi Brooks, Judy Landers, and Richard Herd.

It's too early yet for Universal to have provided the box cover or the extras, but stay tuned and we'll bring those to you just as soon as we can.

I have visited their site daily for well over 1 year and they have yet to be wrong. They will always update with studio release dates, cover art, changes to release dates and all other applicable info.

Great it look like we have some firm news at last :D

Just hope nothing changes now,

I am still curious how they are going to deal with the music issue's epsicaly since seaosn 3 has 2 espidodes with prince music in them.

I am guessing they will just dub over it like they did with season 2 episode"whitle line warriors"

Well will see as the release gets closer!

Nice to finally have a release date for season 3. I'm not too picky on hwo long it takes to release them- just so we get all four seasons.

Miami Vice season 2 will be released on December 13th!!

Great way to end '05 and bring in '06!!

Well, speak of the devil!

But shouldn't the sound be in stereo now?

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's just season 4 that's in stereo.

Nevertheless, it's on it's way.

Yay! I'm so happy to hear that they'll be releasing season three in the near future. I was begining to think it wasn't going to happen at all. True it's not during the holidays but so what? It's season 3!

Well, that will make for a nice post-birthday present for me, since I have a birthday during the month of January in 2006 anyway.
The release date sure sounds definite, huh?

The only bonus feature an Episode from fourth season? Why? I mean, they are going to put out the fourth season too, right? Will they then not have that one episode in the 4th season set and have it on the 3rd season instead or have it on both? Somehow, it just doesn't seem to make sense... :?

But hey, at least Season 3 is coming out finally. :)

I agree an episode from seaon 4 does seem a weird extra.

Now all that remains to be seen is what episode from season 4 will it be??

If it's Knight song, I am going to cry :(

I hear ya, it's cool there actully will be a special feature on the set, but having a season 4 episode makes me think now that mayby there will be no season 4, I assume they will cause why release a TV show and not come out with all seasons. Name one show that they stoped half way or the second to last season?, I sure can't. I wish it would come out as fast as the Dukes does, like every 4 months, but anyways. Season 3 I hope will be the same price as season 2 at like 30 bucks at wal-mart. That's how much I got it for.

I hope it "Scent of Roses". That is the best episode from season 4 and in most of the fans eyes(Including David himself) say that is the last episode of Knight Rider, at least it should have been, not that piece of crap Voodoo Knight.
