Hey Gang:

Long time no talk, I have been really busy. Anyway, one thing I like this movie is Glenn Larson is writing it because all the movie remakes these days are from people are out to make a quick buck and with this one, it is from the creator and he will make sure it is PERFECT not slapped togather to make a quick buck.

With Glen doing thw writing ,he'll be able to add things that was not doable over 23 yrs ago to add in the script....and then as far as casting goes ,there maybe a huge number of actors that might pile on for cameos or guest spots or ,it would be very cool to bring back the two original car jackers that tried to steal kitt! ....of course if not they might even cast Xibit from "pimp my ride"! to be the car thief!....now that would be very funny to see him get a brick upside his head!

Bring back the two original car jackers? That would be hilarious! And add in the two that tried to steal KITT in Custom KITT along with Tony and Rev, all headed by Manny Carmichael that car alarm salesman from White Line Warriors (2nd season episode)... Now THAT would be something KITT would have a hard time contending with!

After writing this, I've started a fanfic about just that. Don't know if/when I'll post it. It's quite past my bedtime now and I'm also still working on my site. But it'll be a fun one if I can finish it. :)

Glen Larson did have something they don't just have any more, I mean apart from his view of all post-middle aged women as villains (dare I mention Siress thingie from Battlestar, Princess Ardala, Mrs. Knight, the War Witch, I digress) He had a magic touch, I think he said it was Humour, Heart and Action. It's what the new battlestar is lacking - Heart, there's no homeliness in it. Same with Knight Rider, Amongst all the gadgets and crime fighting the later incarnations (KR 2000 and TKR) forgot the heart in it all. And let's face it, no one is ALLOWED to be a screenwriter today unless they are cynical or dark about something. So many try to prove a point, whereas Glen wrote legends, programmes that live on way past the controversial, ground breaking tosh that has long since died off.

I can't wait to see what an older, wiser, and, let us hope, unstinted Larson will produce for the new century!
