As we already know, David Hasselhoff played the role as Michael Knight. What acter would you prefer to see in the new movie if not David?

Personally, I think Paul Walker! It would have been nice to see him as mr. Knight, don't you think? However now, it's difficult to choose another character for the new movie since to much changes will ruin the whole Knight Rider-feeling.

I cant imagine anyone else as Michael Knight other that Hasselhof. He's the only one who can create the character right.

First of all: Haven't y'all seen The Fast And The Furious or 2 Fast 2 Furious??? Paul Walker is one of the actors in those movies. It's mainly about styled cars, but you have to see the movie for your self!

Second of all: WHAT IF THEY WOULD REPLACE HASSELHOFF WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!

well, i dont know what you guys would have to say about this, but if HasselHoff isn't in the movie Matt Damon is great when it comes to action movies (remember Bourne Identity and Supremacy?) I think he would be a great actor for Michael Knight...but..thats incredibly far fetched and hard to imagine theyd ever nominate him. *laughs at self for thinking that could happen*

David Hasselhoff is definitely the way to go, if they still want him as Michael Knight's actor.....that would make the movie better and easier to connect with, i think, becuase well see a familiar actor. After all, theyre hardly bringing back any of the original character except for KARR and KITT, right?

If Matt Damon is in that movie, I will not only kill myself, but not see the movie. It should be the guy from Italian Job, Paul Walker, or someone with an attitude of a typical young Michael Knight. Hasselhoff should be the new mentor, its a new age and he is too old to be the remaining driver. He should stay Knight but, have someone else take over as the new Knight, not the same name though.

i dont think they should change his name...it sticks so well...now THAT would ruin the movie, if you ask me. it would feel wierd not having someone call him Michael Knight.

Mitch Knight...or just any other name does not sound as good and original. HIS NAME HAS GOTTA stay as Michael Knight. Even if the actor is different.

but eh, thats only my opinion. When they release the movie, well see what happens.

I've seen Fast and the Furious. I actually loved the movie! If anyone hasn't seen the original one yet, definitely must see! The acting was great too!

I dunno... I still can't imagine anyone other than David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight. Paul Walker is a great actor, but I think maybe he could be Michael's son rather than Michael himself.

And if they bring KARR back, that guy John that was in Season 3, maybe he should come back as KARR's driver.

i also have to say i completely agree with ye, FuzzieDice. I can't imagine anyone else being the actor of Michael Knight. I really do hope they use Hasselhoff. It will probably make a lot of other KR fans feel better about the whole turn-out of the movie itself.

still...i really hope they keep Hasselhoff as the actor...other wise who knows what i'd do at the movies when i see it for the first time!

yes, please let that just be a rumor.

but it is possible they really could be considering a new driver. again it would make the movie seem a little...awkward though. but at least the right producers are in charge of it.......they are, right?....

It must be David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight in a major role. Too bad we would need another actor! It would be nice to see him back in a serious role after some of these "comedy" movies and such...
