Proof of Purchase

Post by Scott Kirkessner » Sat Jul 16, 2005 12:36 am

Hi Folks,

A rather odd question for everyone... but...

In Season 2 of Knight Rider and Magnum PI, we all got an advertisment saying we could get a certain amount rebate if we have 2 seasons of Knight Rider, Magnum, or the A-Team or all 3.

I got my Proof of Purchases from Knight Rider Season 2 and both Seasons of Magnum PI.

But somehow, there is no proof of purchase in Knight Rider Season One... has anyone else noticed this? Or have you found it in some obscure place in the box set? Either way, I need help... anyone know where the Knight Rider Season One proof of purchase is?

-Scott

Maybe they want you to cut out the bottom of the box to give the UPC code? *horror* I'll send an email see if I can get a response.

Okay here is their official response:
Please write the DVD Selection Number found on your "Knight Rider Season 1"
package spine on a small piece of paper, and attach it to your Rebate form
in place of the tab.
Does that do the trick?

For those that wonder what number that is, it's the only number on the spline. It's located between KITT and the "DVD Video" logo at the bottom.

Thanks Neil, I was wondering about what to do myself. However, I'm still a little hesitant to write down the DVD selection number on a separate piece of paper and attach it in place of a tab when the form itself says that no photocopies or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Do we still need to include our receipt showing that we actually purchased the set? How will they know that we didn't gleam a selection number off of a friend's Season 1 DVD set and are trying to pass it off as our own? Sorry, just seems too easy IMO and I want to make sure I definitely get my rebate! Thanks for all your help! :-)
