For me, it was Season 4. Yes, I know it had the most amount of weak episodes and all that. I don't care. It's the season that I first saw when I was a kid and am most fond of because it brings back memories. I like the Convertible Mode and Super Pursuit Mode, as SPM seemed to give each episode more of a climax feeling. Now that I'm older, I naturally look at the episodes in a different way, and now I like Season 4 for its darkness. Don't get me wrong, the more humorous episodes of Knight Rider (namely the first 13 episodes that Glen Larson was a part of) were great, but I think the darker tone helped make the series cooler. It's the season that best matches that mysterious opening sequence in the desert. And maybe it's just me, but Michael Knight seems to be more serious in the last season, which I also like. I hope the upcoming movie maintains this slightly darker tone as I think it will help the movie be taken more seriously.

I definetly think that the darkness on season 4 was great. I like the humor because it balances everything out. I think the movie should be made with that dark tone too.Lost Knight wrote:For me, it was Season 4. Yes, I know it had the most amount of weak episodes and all that. I don't care. Funny how I think we'd all agree Bonnie was the better engineer, but the 'April' series gets the most votes.
I have to admit Season 3 had a certain maturity to it, a real 80's feel (Gawd, can someone REALLY get nostalgic at 23?). Give it a vote from me. I only said I like the one with the most Devon in it, but I can't work out which one it was!

I can't decide which season is my favorite yet becuase i haven't seen season three or four yet. I dont know about you guys, but i kinda liked season 1 since it was what started the movie; but i have a feeling my opinion will change once i watch more of season two over the next few weeks .

I liked all of it, but I remember season 3 having that KARR / KITT story & me arguing with my mother who wanted to watch something on another channel (no VCR in those days!). I was about 11 or 12 when Knight Rider was 1st shown in the UK. I hope seasons 3 and 4 get released on DVD soon, I'm really enjoying watching Knight Rider again! I wish I'd kept the annuals!
