knight rider online

Hi everyone,

I'm always on the lookout for a nice high-resolution wallpaper file (I've got a 1920x1200 UXGA widescreen screen). I stumbled upon this file when doing a random google search: http://www.volocars.com/images/screensa ... 0x1200.jpg

So, I cheated, and using a black background on the computer and now have a nice high-res KITT background. should work really well for anyone with 1920x1200 or 1600x1200 (standard shape screen). Feel free to use it as you like. Just make sure you set the background color to black or KITT will be surrounded in a weird border.

The image posted below will be perfect for people with 1024x768. The link below the pic is the really high-res one.

I've seen this before though - on Universal's web site in the opening screen advertising KR for sale. It was not a wallpaper though.

Yeah, it looked like it would be great. All it needed was to have the scanning light smoothed out a bit Hope people enjoy it! (I also put a smaller version as the posted pic in the thread for ease of use.)

Nice wallpaper! I noticed you added the fog lights in there and blurred out the turn signal blackouts. In the opening credit sequence the producers darkened the contrast a little bit in the 4th season to cover up the bumper grills and blackouts.

I wish I could say I did all that. All I did was cut out the added stuff from the original, center him and put him at the bottom of the graphic, and do some motion bluring on the scanner so it looks more like his scanner and less like a string of Christmas lights.

personally i liked the original with the picts on the side as well. so here is that one at 1280x1024 size which will also scale down to any standard sized screen. click on the picture below to be taken to the actual file called myKnight3.jpg

haha...it looks like we did the EXACT same amount of motion blur on the our scanners : )
