The Impotace of Being Earnest and Knight Rider???

Post by Brian99_1 » Wed Apr 27, 2005 8:27 pm

I was just flipping through channels when I came across a old black and white film playing on one of the cable networks here in Canada when I had to stop and go back to it because to my amazment I saw a young Edward Mulhare in a movie I just looked up to Being The Importance of being Ernest(1952).
The only thing is It's not in any of his filmographiess but I'm sure it's him

I tooks some screen caps but I don't have the time to place them online just now I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever caught this

I remember him from watching "The Ghost and Mrs. Muer" before Knight Rider ever came on. It was a show my mother and I would watch. Then when Knight Rider came on, my mother I think it was recognized Edward Mulhare as the Ghost!

But I don't know what other plays or movies, etc. he had been in prior. I have heard he did some broadway or theatre stuff in London I think, or other places. Not sure.

Uh, did anyone else besides me see Edward Mulhare on an episode of the "Daniel Boone" series?
He played a very different role very well, but I wasn't sure whether that character was a good guy or a bad guy, despite his nefarous character's ways in that episode....
Just curious.

Thanks for the caps! He looks pretty good in those pics. It's amazing that in that time to the time he was in Knight Rider, he didn't change too much. He's one that stays young even as he grew old. A fine gentleman indeed. :)

He's was also one of the bad guys in one of the Flint movies.

The Flint series was kind of a James Bond/Austin Powers spy spoof from the late 60s. Good stuff if you can find it.
KITT project is on again!

Currently working on: brand new stock tan interior, almost done!
