YAY! I'm so excited! I just got the ERTL KITT at the Pittsburgh Auto Show today. I saw a guy there selling car models and just happen to spot it. There were only two left. Here's a pic of it and me.LadyV2000 wrote:You guys have so many cool things. All i have at the moment is Season 1, but I'll expand on my collection sooner or later. Darn, i wish I was older in the 80's. I was only born during the 3rd season.
BAM! all the evidence I need. So happy!

I know exactly how you feel, for I was very excited when I first received my die cast KITT. I have two of them as a matter of fact, one is mint in the box and the other is displayed next to my Darth Vader helmet and 12 inch figure, for it matches well with the color black.
I sometimes look upon my die cast KITT as the "Vadermobile", especially when Michael refers to KITTs interior as Darth Vaders Bathroom in "Knight of the Phoenix".

I don't need no "Wizard Of Oz Car" putting me behind the 8 ball, for nothing. LOL (The Rev)
All they did was blow away a "Ringmaster", they didn't even steal any hamburgers. LOL (Michael)

Thanks!
There were a few novels that were released based on episodes of Knight Rider. I think there were four of them.
1- Knight of the Phoenix
2- Trust Don't Rust
3- Hearts of Stone
Does anyone know the fourth book's title?
FRANÇAIS:
Merci!
Il y avait quelques romans dont ont été libérés a basé sur des épisodes de 'Knight Rider'. Je pense qu'il y avait de quatre d'entre eux.
1- Knight of the Phoenix (1st épisode)
2- Trust Don't Rust (KARR)
3- Hearts of Stone (Marchands illégaux rivaux d'armes en amour!)
Est-ce que n'importe qui sait ce qu'était quatrième ?

I don't have many goddies anymore.
I threw away a lot of my old KR toys when I thought I had "grown up" years ago. Really regretting that now. One was the old Kenner talking car and figure *bangs head on desk*
Anyway all I have now is the 1:18 car that sits on my entertainment center with a 1:18 C5 Vette and the lunch box which my Aunt got me for my birthday a few years ago that sits on a shelf with all my military awards.
Then there's the pile of parts in the garage...
edit: forgot about the KR Zippo lighter that I got on eBay about 4 years ago. It sits next to my lunchbox.

Maybe I should explain the photo.
The painting and drawings are all mine (I made them in high school).
The book in front of the painting is from Kit Car Illustrated. The article talks about how Mark's Custom Kits started up with KITT replicas. The issue was released in August, 1997 (I think).
Then there's my Knight Rider cards, my Kenner KITT (in bad shape), the Knight Rider KITT (without the wand for the t-tops that makes the car move), and my KITT and KIFT models.
Speaking of Knight Rider cards, here's a closer look at them.
These cards are my pride and joy!!!

WOW. I am very impressed with your Knight Rider collection, especially the Aoshima 1:18 scale die cast KARR. I am still waiting for ERTL to come out with their version of KARR, which will not be available until this summer. Sure I could pay a little extra to have KARR now, but I am very patient and therefore can hold out for the ERTL version, the same way we all have to wait for Knight Rider Seasons 2,3, & 4 to arrive on DVD.
