Re: KR baby names, please help!!
How about "Jeff-Daniels? 2 common names and everytime you call him, you would think of the voice of KITT!!!AprilCurtis wrote:My partner and I are expecting our firstborn in October, we went for the scan today, and we found out we're having a boy Now, the thing is, being a H-U-G-E KR fan, I'd love the baby to have a cool name, with some kind of Knightrider link. Can you guys help me come up with something? So far, I love Kitt, I think thats gonna be a great name, but can you come up with any more? (I've obviously thought of the "Michael", "david" and "devon") Pleeeease help!!!!

Great train of thought. I can just imagine a bunch of 6 years asking him why he was named after a talking car. Although KITT is awesome, it may not be an appropriate name.Michael Pajaro wrote:I don't know... I think I would avoid "KITT". It's such a specific name (when spelled with two T's) that it invites people to wonder where it came from, and I could see a kid being embarrassed on the playground explaining that he was named after a talking car. You have to prepare yourself for the possibility (liklihood) that your children won't have the same interests you do.
You can use more generic names and still pay tribute to Knight Rider. But don't limit yourself to fictional characters - you can name your child after a real person with real accomplishments. Glen (Larson) is a great name. Or William (Daniels).

Adrian is a boys name too. Remember Highlander? His real name was Adrian Paul. He was a hottie like Steven Seigal.
Congrats on your baby boy!
I like Devon too. How about David, or Devon Knight Bowler , to be different. It would be original.
By the way is your partner a KR fan like you and would he be okay with the KR names? Either way be sure to remember us and let us know what name you do choose.
