If you ask me, I prefer the one that came with the figure even though the figure is out of scale with the car. It just feels complete to have both Michael and KITT... But its up to you really since the car itself is basically the same. The figure can be used as a nice display with the 1/18 KITT too ...

I just got mine today... When they first announced that the figure would be 3 3/4", I knew that it would be too small for the 1/15 scaled KITT car. It is no doubt cool to have a Michael Knight figure to accompany the 1/15 KITT, but I just wish it was bigger. A 5" figure would be more to sc...

Even on the inside, you can actually see the seatbelt hook on either side of the front seats, very clearly seen throughout the show, and its replicated nicely on the model...

10000 pcs was made for the Elite KITT and I think only 1000 are being made for the Super Elite..

The Elite KITT is probably as good and simple as it gets for a 1/18 model of KITT. Nice detailing, opening doors, hood and trunk, all standard 1/18 model features. Add up to the pop up headlights, rotating license plate and the only electronic feature being the red LED scanner. Overall, a nice model...

It will be the season one square box, and the season 3 pedal will go away. I don't think they make LED's that small to accurately replicate that voice box at that scale anyway. That Matchbox KITT car is such a mess... Matchbox was too lazy and got it all wrong.... Still its a nice collectible to keep, mine is still mint..haha

Indeed.. They do have plans on releasing a 1/43 KARR soon. These 1/43 models do make really nice display pieces...
