Highly improbable...doing so will jack up the price of the existing model.

Lots of inconsistencies indeed for KARR...I'm glad I have KITT instead with the overall black color and rear license plate. I hope they don't mess up on the Recaro if it ever gets released that is.

In the picture of KARR above (Turboman's pics with no license plate), it appears that the silver paint below the tail light assembly is done rather sloppily. And the two-tone paint on the driver side door is not alligned with the body's paint job.

The 1/18 ERTL KARR is now on sale at my hobby shop for US$31.00. I've seen it a while ago when I visited the mall. I won't be buying it though, I'm still saving up for the Recaro Trans Am which unfortunately is still nowhere to be found.

Prices for MIB Talking Kenner KITTs have fallen since ERTL introduced the 1/18 diecast. However these Kenners still command prices in excess of $75.00 when they are found in mint condition without the box or instructions. Expect to pay around $150 plus for a "never been played" condition w...

I honestly think David H. isn't goofing off most of the time. After doing countless autograph signings, appearances, operas...etc., a person is bound to seek some rest. He also has a family to look after and it would be perfectly natural for a person to seek solace from the spotlight every once in a...

Hello there macp73 , welcome to the forum! That's a great piece of KR toy memorabilia you have there. And it appears to be in great shape for its age. I strongly advice you to hold onto it because once you sell it, there is no turning back. If you really love the series so much, you will definitely ...

Aaactually, the Pontiac quip came in the episode "Inside Out" when KITT speeds (and turbo boosts) by two cops. That was one of the few if not only times anyone mentioned "Pontiac" in the show. The rest of the times in the first season, we heard "Trans Am" And of course...

I know they are all pretty much the same car but do they really ever say which one he is? In the pilot episode where KITT turbo-boosted over (or through, can't remember) a semi-truck trailer, an awe-stricken man who saw KITT commented "Pontiac!". I can't remember if they ever referred to ...

Here's a Monogram GMC General for sale w/out a trailer (1/32 trailers are pretty common anyway). It's a snaptite in 1/32 scale. At $21.00, its a pretty good price for a kit that is pretty hard to find even in ebay. I bought from these people in the past (twice) and they are trustworthy. Have a look:...

HondaSiR, Sorry to disagree with you, but it was NOT a Members Only. Not sure what brand the 3/4 season jacket was, but I own a jacket EXACTLY like the 1/2 season jacket. This one has the angled zippers on the chest area. No problem with me, I used to own a Members only jacket sometime ago and it s...

IIRC, the brand of jacket that David wore in the series is a Members Only. Similar jackets may be found in department stores in your area. Otherwise I would suggest ebay if you can't find one locally.

KITT is a highly customized 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with t-tops. Customized parts include the front bumper with scanner, rear blacked-out plexiglass tail light cover, highly modified dashboard with full digital electonic readouts. The engine has also been replaced with a higher output Chevy V...

Is this really a screen-used KITT?

Found this auction in ebay Germany. Seller claims this car was used in the series. Interior looks authentic but the front bumper lacks the turn-signal blackouts for an early season version. What do you guys think? Authentic or not, it sure is attracting a lot of bids. Link: http://cgi.ebay.de/KNIGHT...

I haven't seen the movie yet since its slated to be shown in the coming weeks where I live. But I have seen the trailer and I must say the stunt scene on the freeway is way way cool. Helicopters are cool, they enable you to take off and land in such small areas...quite handy in emergency rescue operations. Countless lives have been saved by this engineering marvel that can reach places airplanes and ordinary vehicles cannot reach.

Your Aoshima KARR definitely looks better now Lost Knight. More truer to the show. Its no wonder many members here are clamoring to get their hands on the upcoming ERTL version. Knowing how to use a soldering gun really has its perks. :)

It was Mr. Daniel's request that his name not be shown during the opening credits. He wanted the star car KITT to have a personality of his own and a sense of mysticism to the voice.
