According to the schedulebot, it looks like KR is getting replaced with Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. I'm sure that most of you are going to jump on me for saying this, but where is it written that SciFi is obligated to show KR just because we like it? Saying things like "How dare SciFi do ...

Re: James Bond in the 80's

ColeGrad01, FYI, I just figured I'd let you know that Sean Connery DID do a James Bond movie in the 1980's in fact 1983, a movie called Never Say Never Again BEHOLD: click me KI2000PA I was just about to mention NSNA. And part of the nice thing about NSNA was that they acknowledged right off the ba...

^That's most likely how things happened with Wilton Knight, as well. He becomes filthy-stinkin'-rich from running Knight Industries, sets up the Knight Foundation for his philanthropic work, and toward the end, sets up FLAG as an organization within the Knight Foundation after getting ripped off by ...

^Me too. Maybe they had some sort of difficulties in getting the scene to work right, so they switched to the craps table instead.

Getting back to the original issue of how KITT manipulated the dice, it beats me. The second draft of the script has KITT using his microwave jammer to controle a roulette wheel. IIRC, that trick ended up working its way into a Season 3 episode, though I could be mistaken. (The section of the script...

There's a line in the script where Devon refers to people from Knight Industries having stolen a cadaver from a med school and left it in front of Michael Long's car in the desert.

As I've never seen the pilot episode uncut, I don't know if it made it to screen or not.

I don't suppose there's a way you could get some screencaps, since I haven't seen those episodes in ages?

Also, could it be possible that the blue light showed up because they were using recycled footage from the first season? :?:

In season 1, he had the square box, the rounded square box, the greyish looking square box, the 3 line box, and a lter version of the 3 line box. The greyish-looking square box probably had more to do with the lighting and the angle they were filming from rather than the actual color of the dash. S...

He probably could have turbo boosted over Goliath, but the whole scene was built on the premise that Michael thought KITT was invincible, so charging a semi covered with the MBS head-on would be an okay thing.

My gut tells me they'll do a continuation. But my heart wants them to take the risk and do a remake. After seeing the new Battlestar Galactica, I'm starting to think the same way. A continuation of Knight Rider wouldn't be as good without Edward Mulhare around, just like a continuation of BSG would...

While most of the conversion noses out there are the longer one from the fourth season that eliminates the front turn signals, I've also seen an alternate nose based on the one used in the first season on some websites. This type preserves the notches in the bumper for where the amber turn singles a...

Here's the second-draft script, posted over at Paul's KR Archive. I haven't seen the episode for several years (not since KR was being shown on WGN), but I think it's pretty close to what we saw on TV.

The "heaviest" episode would be "Scent of Roses" by far... Michael deals with his mortality and his life for what's really the first time since "Knight of the Phoenix"... Stevie comes back into his life, and it looks like he'll be able to settle down and share his life ...

the "box" modulator, which seemed to basically be what sound engineer's would call a peak light (being it lit every time the volume in KITT's voice rose above a given point). There were even two versions of that, though the first version only showed up in the pilot episode. Version 1: squ...

I certainly understand why you might want to take down your page, CB, but please don't. I for one really enjoyed most of what you did in adapting "Knight of the Phoenix" for both the big screen and the late '90s/early '00s. :(

I'd rather they got a new mechanic than brought back April. No offense to any of Rebecca Holden's fans, just that the fact they brought Bonnie back speaks volumes about which character was a better fit for the show. :)
