As at posting, the pics didn't work. Let's hope Knight Replicas comes back online soon! :-S

...thats because its a season 3/4 nose, right? which never had black outs. Sarfraz HEEERRRRNNNTTT!!!!!! Sorry! The buzzer indicates you are, indeed, indisputably, irreversibly and emphaticably, wrong! Look here: http://kitt.250free.com/E83-0090.jpeg http://kitt.250free.com/E83-0980.jpeg And here: h...

Hey, great to hear from you, Steve! I must say, you guys have done really well. A few replica nose producers say theirs is molded from an original, but yours is the nicest I've seen. Via the net, anyway! :-) Have to ask though, why did you guys leave out the dreaded blackout panels? Even in season 4...

Re: Knight Rider nose
8) I think Marks Custom Classics is the place to go for replicas, just check out their website and judge for yourself. Once I can Afford it I am going to purchase one from them myself. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying their product is rubbish. It's just that some manufacturer's parts, ie noses, l...

The pilot! Old eh? Way back in 82. Mind you, I missed the first half hour! So I was pretty glad to find it on the net to download. I had heard so much for so long about KITT and Michael's first conversation. I felt I missed the best bits! Still, got it now! ;-) http://kitt.250free.com/SPM_go_stop.gif

Best nose for replicas I've seen. And pommie too!
I'm not sure how it happened, but somehow when I posted this topic last night it went south. But anyway, I'll try again. After browsing around I thought I'd see what's new down at the Knights of England website. I happened upon one of the best looking noses for replicas that anyone could find. Now I...

If you rip out the engine, you have plenty of room for a small circuit, like this for example: http://www.talkingelectronics.com/Projects/KittScanner/KittScannerP1.html My original was like that one, except it used a 555 timer instead of two transistors. My next circuit will be simpler again, using ...

Ummm....you seem a bit lonely in here CB2001. I'm (very slowly) building a 1:24 KITT model, but the nose on the bugger is so wrong out-of-the-box, it's very disheartening. I'm a bit of a fussy bugger, see. The dash is going to light up, and I'm going to fit a PIC microprocessor-controlled LED scanne...

Hang on though, you're giving me examples of SUPER expensive sports cars. I mean, your average person can't afford a Lotus, let alone a Mclaren F1! The Trans Am was an affordable, standard configuration RWD V8-powered 2-door vehicle constructed by a mainstream manufacturer, that looked dammit-nice, ...

I'm surprised there are so many Trans Ams over in the UK, let alone KITT replicas! I'd have thought we'd have more than that over here in Australia! I'm having trouble finding just one KITT replica! It's funny to think that those sorts of cars are popular over there. Then again, I suppose people wou...

Over 100,000 miles... Ouch! 6 Cyl. engine... Yikes! SH And what's wrong with a six? They can go a hell of a lot harder than a heavy old eight, especially when equipped with a hair dryer. :-) And as for 100,000 miles, we have cars over here in Australia that REGULARLY have over 200,000 miles...

Interesting plans there, fuzzydice. How much do you want to spend on this car? What's it worth? Being an Autoelectrician I can tell you that you have many obstacles ahead, but none that can't be resolved with a no-limit credit card. :-) Maybe you should settle for the in-car computer just playing MP...

The most obvious nitpick, for me, is they put a season 3-4 KITT car on the box rather than the 82 model. Skav My own personal comment on that is that the car pictured must be someone's replica, cause that nose ain't one from the show. Sure, the blackouts got less visible as the show went on, but th...
