Re: Willam Daniels in Knight of the Phoenix???

I remember some type of super market commercial in the later 80's, maybe 88 or 89,that had Patricia McPherson in it. Some guy was like questioning produce or something, and Patricia turns around, and I remember being like, Oh my god, it's Bonnie!

Re: Style of movie? Lighthearted Action or Serious Sci Fi?

Where as I agree on most points, I think your car is a little too of the "super car" variety. I'd like that type of car, that is an edge ahead, but can be seen as a rival to higher rated cars. Great example of this was the old Trans Am, Trans Am alone had that american bad a** heritage too...

Re: Biggest mistake on KR movie

VK makes great points, and personally, reading what he will disclose, actually excites me! I do think if Daniels doesn't return as the voice of KITT, how simply fantastic a cameo would it be, if he and Hasselhoff (maybe as father and son) could just maybe show up to complement our modern day Micheal...

Re: my 91 3/4th season replica for sale

Hi, would it be possible if you could post just a pic or two of the dash? I'm extremely curious to see a finished product of the Louisell 3-4th season dashboard, as their website does not have a final installed dash pic(s) available. I ask because if I do a conversion, I'm interested in doing a seas...

Too bad GM/Pontiac didn't allow it to be used for KR2000, however, it does get some background screen time in "Demolition Man" with Stallone and Snipes.

Man VK, even for just an April Fools gag, yet again, you come up with an awesome title label. I love the "Knight Rider: The Ride" lettering. Absolutely fantastic. I was definitely fooled. Well played!

actually, I was led to believe the foyer scene in Goliath Returns, was the real foyer of the "knight rider house" (as I always called it as a kid). I am led to believe this, because in the movie with Jack Lemmon and James Garner where they were ex US Presidents (can't think of the name as ...

Can someone help with a pic?

On the original KR page of this site, there's that pic of Mulhare and Hasselhoff kneeling down with KITT behind them. Does anyone have that pic? I love it, it'd be a great wallpaper type of thing. Appreciate any help, thanks guys! :kitt:

KI2K wouldn't have had the problem with napalm!?!?!? Umm.....let's go to season 3, shall we! "Circus Knights" KITT was getting blasted with the crazy fire truck, with that special napalm mixture, which burns and sticks to it's target. "Tiger's Crowning achivement". Micheal does s...

It is rather funny isn't it, the tag for the Road Warrior is Just one man can make a difference. Then you go back to the beginning of Mad Max, when we are introduced to the Pursuit team, and who are they chasing?? None other than "The Night Rider!!!" as he exclaimed several times. I love t...

Re: Knight 3000's Scanner to be More Familiar?

Guys, take it easy on the SHELBY lettering. This car is a Shelby, that lettering belongs on that car! Look at a 1967 Shelby GT 500, and a '68 Shelby 500 KR (King of the Road) and you will see the SAME style lettering in the same place on the car. If it's there in the show, well, we'll have to deal w...

When Knight Rider was cancelled in '86

We've always heard where David Hasselhoff and cast stood and felt about Knight Rider ending. I wonder how Glen A. Larson felt about it. This was such a great creation of his. I would love to know where he stood on the issue. Obviously I'm sure he was saddened, but did he like where the show went, wa...

:dash: I think the jump inthe episode: A Nice Indecent Little Town had about the best of the series when KITT jumped from an alley clearing the street to land in the alley across the way. Very spectacular. :kittspin: Without a doubt the best!! Even the distance and height that was achieved to clear...

Re: Greatest Episodes of Knight Rider

I love topics like this! Very fun. My list would be as follows: 1. Knight of the Phoenix [one of the greatest pilot episodes of any show of all time] 2. White Bird 3. KITT v. KARR - classic nostalgia 4. Knight of the Drones - I've always loved this one, the look and feel, the music. The two differen...

Yes indeed, it did have to be American, which rules out the made in Canada Camaro. Actually, GM closed that F Body Camaro plant years ago. The final Camaro/Firebird models were built in the States upon discontinuation. We don't really yet know where the Camaro will be built when they begin producti...

Re: dose anyone remember k.i.t.t.e.n??

Actually, I do believe George Barris made a custom F Body, with a very similar nose to KITT and it also had a flahser light up front. I believe it was painted Gold and white, and called K.I.T.T.E.N., but it was only for Barris' Kustom Shop purposes. In that case, I must humbly stand corrected Daryl...

Re: Was the Knight 4000 controversial?

I remember the commercials leading up to the movie were awesome. They were, if I'm correct, reusing the season 4 teaser footage of Micheal Knight walking down the steamy setting, and opening the doors to what would be the future. It was done with a voice over, "For 4 years they rode together, A...

Re: Did KITT have glasspacks?

I'd love to know how KITT was handled mechanically. However, those sounds were most definately sampled sounds put into the soundtrack. Which was really sorta silly, how in the beginning KITT sounded like a turbine, but he left us sounding like a Chevy 350 at times.

Re: Cars as characters: why NBC might get it right this time

I think many people are being way way too hard on the Mustang. We have to take a step back and remember something. KITT does NOT have to be sleek and sexy. The 82 Trans Am was sleek and sexy because, overall, GM was covering for, by far, the worst T/A to ever roll off the line. A proud car that, was...
