One man can make a difference
I'm sorry if this has been posted before but just now I discovered that the tagline for Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (Just one man can make a difference) is the same as the main idea of Knight Rider. Do you think Larson got the idea from there? This isn't much but I think it's interesting

Re: Knight Rider 2010 - what could have been (a script review)
Wow finaly someone in this forum who also enjoyed the film besides me... Well by reading the very early drafts of the script, i'd say the story is kinda hard on KITT, even if it does have connections to the earlier series. By this, I'm glad that the movie came out as it did becouse as True Knight Ri...

Re: Goodbye to an old friend...
The question is could William Daniels still make the old KITT voice like he used to? Since he is like 20 years older from then...

Re: Goodbye to an old friend...
If KITT would realy be destroyed then he would be alot more dismantled than that. Look at the body of the car, its intact and only some of the parts have been separated like the licence plate, the steering wheel and I think I saw the scanner separately too... To me, it looks like Graiman is working ...

Re: did you like the nbc kr movie??
I loved it, and becouse of some specific facts: 1. The Knight Rider 2000 and TKR universe totaly cut out! 2. Simple plot, only 2 KITT's were officialy made 3. Good references to the old KITT 4. The Hoff made his appearance :D 5. Justin Bruening = Good Choice! I realy liked this movie and beside the ...

Re: Interesting references
Well actualy I did not mean that they got the whole idea from the 1994 film. I know that they thought Mustang would generally be the best choice but I remember them referring something to the old 69 Mustang used in KR 2010

Interesting references
Well I do not remember what website it exactly was but from somewhere I read that the producers got the idea to use a Mustang as the new KITT from KR 2010. It is also interesting to note that both films feature a brief cameo of a Shelby Cobra. Maybe they actualy watched the 1994 film and got very fe...

Re: hmmm not sure how to ask this
Even tho KITT might not appear in the 2008 movie, I'd like an up-to-date remake of the original KITT that started it all, kindof makes me feel like I didn't miss the premiere of the legendary series. As for the Mustangs, to me they kindof have developed a dual-legacy with the Trans Am. I mean the mo...

Re: KR uk says cease and desist lawsuit?
What's the big deal? If people won't like the series then it'll just get cancelled anyway. Lol I mean look what kind of fate TKR had and Larson was even the executive producer of that show and now a cease and desist lawsuit on NBC? Larson isn't the only one who knows what's the original series is li...

It's weird that the whole future-like concept was a sequel to the original series. The only cool part was seeing KITT's old body when Watts was watching Devon's RNA or smth. Oh and why the hell did they have to kill him off anyway... At the beginning of the film it sounded as if they actualy forgot ...
