Re: HOW LONG HAS KNIGHT RIDER ONLINE BEEN AROUND?

I remember posting here (under a different username) back when I was in high school, so that would have been the mid to late '90s; I'm pretty sure the board was around when Team Knight Rider was airing on TV in the US. And I also remember using the old threaded board format that Knight Racer mention...

Re: Knight Rider 2008 killed the KR Tv franchise

I don't think KR08 killed the franchise any more than TKR did; even if the projects they're talking about now fall through, eventually someone will try to do something with the property again. It's a shame that it took the writers and producers of KR08 so long to figure out what they wanted the show...

Re: CADILLAC AND MERCEDES RIPPING OFF KNIGHT RIDER

I think you're being a bit over-dramatic there. Knight Rider didn't invent the idea of a self-driving car; that's been in the public consciousness ever since GM's Futurama exhibit at the 1939 World's Fair. And cars being able to converse with you has less to do with KITT and more to do with taking o...

Re: Junk Yard Dog

One thing I always found funny in this episode is at 2:36 of this clip you'll notice how kitt's repairs are being done on the season 1 and 2 dash interior without his button pods or steering wheel. Funny the season 1 and 2 interior is shown for a season 3 episode where the interior was already give...

Re: Knight Rider novelizations - US vs UK editions

I'll let you know in a couple months, I found an eBay auction where someone was selling books 2-5 for only around $60. Considering what I've seen the last two sell for individually, I realized that was a steal, so that will be my Christmas gift from my brother this year. :) $60??? I found these for...

Re: Knight Rider novelizations - US vs UK editions

Btw, I'd be interested to know if anyone else out there has a printing error at the end of their copy of Hearts of Stone. The text in the last chapter of mine kind of repeats itself and doesn't have an ending. I'll let you know in a couple months, I found an eBay auction where someone was selling b...

Re: Knight Rider novelizations - US vs UK editions

Another interesting thing I noticed as I've been reading -- the scenes with the inept car thieves Jackson and Browne are nowhere to be seen (not that this is a major loss or anything). Do they appear in the American version of the novelization?

Re: Knight Rider novelizations - US vs UK editions

I've started reading the book, and I'm definitely noticing some editorial choices that reflect its UK publication -- words like "color" and "honor" are spelled with a 'u', dialogue is in single instead of double quotes, and in the scene where Michael talks with Wilton while he's ...

She's really good. Her other videos are definitely worth checking out; she also does the themes from Airwolf, Inspector Gadget, and the Imperial March from Empire Strikes Back (among others).

Knight Rider novelizations - US vs UK editions

I recently obtained a copy of the first Knight Rider novel by Glen Larson and Roger Hill, based off the pilot movie. When I received my delivery from eBay, it turned out that I got the British printing by W.H. Allen's Star Books imprint rather than the American one published by Pinnacle. Years and y...

Re: Anybody Actually Like "Knight Rider 2000"?

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. Obviously nothing it predicted has come to pass — the ban on firearms, cars running off algae gases, President Dan Quayle ( ). Seeing Michael, Devon, and KITT back together again was nice, and for all its faults, it's still a better farewell to t...
