The Mike Knight figure never fails to crack me up. It's just so cheesy and slapped-together. Put a 'fro and a leather jacket on 'Generic Playmates Male Sculpt #4' and volia! Insta-Hasselhoff! But the job Playmates did on KITT is amazing, especially considering that he's over 20 years old! Yours look...

Since the 'Knight of the Phoenix' novel barely resembles what aired, I wouldn't say they're canon. They kinda have thier own universe. And the books going from KOTP to TDR actually makes a weird kind of sense: they're books in a series, the others aren't. I think they wanted the novels to kind of me...

Hrrmm. The most I know about those books was seeing a picture of the cover for 'KITT Vanishes' when I was looking for the KR novels on-line. Have you opened them up and looked at them, or are you going to keep them mint? I'd be dieing to know what the Mike and KITT on the cassette sound like. :) Whe...

It's simple: the seller wants to make as big a profit as he can off this. If someone does go for the 'Buy It Now', his $35 magically turns into $115. A lot of sellers on eBay will go to stores and hoard items that have just come out and/or aren't widely available and sell them for grossly inflated p...

Ta-dah! http://i1.ebayimg.com/01/i/04/ef/a5/2a_3.JPG Gotta say...I am a little underwhelmed. The jacket looks nice though. Here's the link to an e-Bay auction for the costume, although the starting bid is very expensive. (I love the write-up for the auction--you can tell the guy auctioning it's a fa...

Re: definition of heaven (pic)
If I stare at this picture any longer, I'll have to clean the drool off the keyboard. So many preeettty KITTs...(And of course, KARR.) One thing I realized is that I admire the amount of work and skill required for people to make those cars into replicas. Since the sum of my automotive knowledge is ...

Ooh, nice. Speaking as a person who is learning how to drive, I think a self-driving car would be a good thing for a beginner to have. Think of it! The car rights itself when the frightened 16-year old driver on the road for the first time steers it towards a drainage ditch. ...Not that anything lik...

They canceled the Trans-Am diecast? :( I was thinking of getting one when it came out. The way the website puts it (ERTL has cancelled this model for now) makes it sound like it might be issued at some point, just not in August. As for KARR, I don't think I'll be buying him. I can't bring myself to ...

Don't relocate to some near- or far-future scenario. Do that, and immediately the material is dated. KR2000's line about 'President Quayle' never fails to crack me up for that reason. Getting back on-topic, I'm for a movie. I do agree that there's probably 1,904,579 ways someone can turn this proje...

When I was channel-surfing on June 23 last summer , I saw 'A Plush Ride' on Sci-Fi. I was instantly hooked. :D I fell in love with KITT right off the bat--it took be a little longer to warm up to Mikey. (Probably my least favorite 80's show staple is 'Young, sexy, single woman follows hero for one e...

When I was on vacation, the local critic absolutely ravaged the film in general. Eventually, he said 'The scene where the AI goes crazy is supposed to be reminecent of HAL in '2001', but winds up more like the moronic banter of 'Knightrider'.' Yes, that typo was in there. :? I'll admit that 'KR' is ...

Re: Greetings from Germany
Welcome, and enjoy the board! :D It's a pretty nice place, and blows a lot of forums I've seen out of the water! Normally known in the KR World under the Name Phoenix (or in German= Phönix), unfortunately the Name was already used in this board. So I must log me with another. :| I found that out too...
