It's OK if your girlfriend doesn't like Knight Rider, so long as she's OK with the fact that YOU like it. But if she won't "allow" you to get a T-shirt, there are bigger issues than just her dislike of the show. In high school my girlfriend (who didn't like the show) bought me the Knight ...

If that's how she feels, there's nothing you can do. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Not everyone is going to share the same interests. That's life. Besides, sometimes it's nice to be able to have something to enjoy and epxerience for yourself.

"Voodoo Knight" was a dissapointing series finale. I thought "The Scent of Roses" would have been a better way to wrap up the series, seeing as how that episode completed the Michael Long/Stevie story arch. That, and the fact that the way the episode ended, with Michael deciding ...

This is an interesting topic. A few years ago, someone wrote a KR fan fiction series that featured a re-vamped FLAG team- Michael, KITT, Devon, Bonnie, KARR, and Jon Black, a fictional character who was KARR's driver. At one point during the series, KARR developa strange glitch in his programing tha...

you would think as a safety matter KITT would have been programmed to automatically take over in SPM did we ever see a top speed? every time i remember the speedometer it was always going up! I remember KITT reaching speeds of more than three hundred miles per hour, but I don't know if he reached h...

Two Questions

1. Is it possible for KITT to be in "Auto Cruise" and "SPM" simultaneously? As far as I know, this never happened during the series, as Michael was always driving KITT when he was in SPM.

2. What was KITT's maximum speed when traveling in SPM?

Even if they did reprogram KARR and use him as part of FLAG, wouldn't there be the possibility that he could return to his old ways of having no regard for human life. I've seen many times when KITT's been re-programmed that no matter how hard they try, his primary function to protect human life is...

The problem in KITT vs. KARR was that in order to re-program KARR, they'd have to catch him first. It's often much easier to kill a fleeing suspect than it is to take them alive. That's true. I guess they didn't feel they had any other choice, especially after KARR rammed the Semi and almost killed...

I'm surprised this idea never actually became reality. It would have been intersting to see FLAG involved in international missions. The closest we saw to that was in "Knight Flight to Freedom," when Michael, KITT, and RC went to Mexico to aid the volcano disaster victims and subdue the m...

Reprograming KARR

Ever since I first saw the episode "KITT vs. KARR," it occurred to me that FLAG would have been able to handle a much larger case load if they had decided to reprogram KARR and hire another operative. It was always my understanding that KARR was deactivated in the first place because Wilto...

Or was it Los Angeles? It seemed like FLAG worked cases up and down the West Coast. There were several episodes in San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as other parts of California. There were also several episodes that took place in other states, such as "Knight of the Juggernaut" or &...

Does FLAG need a carrier plane? A Hercules? That will help them carry out missions overseas. I'm surprised this idea never actually became reality. It would have been intersting to see FLAG involved in international missions. The closest we saw to that was in "Knight Flight to Freedom," w...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't KITT lose the MBS in KOTJ? He appears to have gotten it back sometime between KOTJ and Kittnap, but after the end of KOTJ the loss of the MBS is never mentioned again. Knightwolf What I always assumed happened was that the MBS was temporarily lost because KITT wa...

If I remember correctly, the semi did have some sort of autopilot program. It wasn't nearly as sophisticated as the auto-cruise program used by KITT or KARR, but it did enable the semi to be operated without a driver.
