Re: Gaffs and Goofs

I noticed in "A Plush Ride", the scene when Michael's been rendered unconscious and (is it Jacobs?) who goes out to try and open KITT's door - and fails. He tries the knife (times 2) and then shoots it - then you see him thump the door in frustration - and puts a dent in it! Then when the ...

Look, if you're going to try and re-enact scenes from the pilot, at least use an SUV for target practice, okay?

Glad you got out relatively okay and get well soon!

It's a camera mount.

They bolt camera frames onto the front of the car for some shots of Hoff driving and delivering dialogue.

Re: George Barris Speak of new KITT for 2007?

The whole thing was just a rushed mess. The announcement back in Autumn '07 that a back door pilot was coming soon - then it was just thrown together to satisfy the execs. I just wish that they'd taken their time to do it right. Taking time costs money though adn right now there ain;t a lot of that ...

I wonder if Justin saw Hasselhoff's OTT interpretation of it all and decided to approach it low key?

Re: Was the OLD Knight Rider more High budget than the NEW?

but I think "Devon" do have a point here. looking back, in the original series, Michel did go back in his seat when he was using Turbo boost, and he was shouting sometimes when he was having a big fight or calling KITT to make sure he is alright after hiting a missile or something. Althou...

Re: Was the OLD Knight Rider more High budget than the NEW?

Kids today are more sophisticated than they were in the 80s. Still, I don't thinks kids "saw" the CGI in the new show. They just saw a cool car doing cool things. It was just like back in 1982, when kids didn't see the sped-up footage or the model cars or the hidden back-seat drivers. I w...

Cancellation Notices?

Just browsing the NBC boards and someone mentioned that NBC *may* still be looking for further funding for any more potential KR episodes. Re: Knight Rider number one on Sci-Fi

lets not forget that the 2 hour pilot did very well in the usa with 13 million viewers, but when the series premiered the numbers dropped off a lot. so the same thing could happen in the uk when everybody sees how crappy the series is in the beginning before the reboot! But also the US had a 6 moth...

Re: KI2T VS AIRWOLF

Airwolf took on a mind of it's own in "Moffet's Ghost", therefore with the right programming can be pretty much autonomous. It can fire weapons that have a greater range than Micro Jam adn has the tactical advantage of being in the air. even if KI2T were to sustain direct attacks, he could...

Re: What would you do if season 2 started

I would paint myself shiny black with 2 matt black stripes over my head, slot a red scanner into each nostril, and run up and down the road jumping over things yelling "Turbo Boost".

and if the cast don't do the same to promote the show when it comes back, then frankly I'd be disappointed.
