Bah, I think the series 2000 was the best. I love the dash and gullwing steering wheel, and in my opinion the 80's Trans Am body was much cooler.

I don't like the dashboard for that "Knight Industries 3000" Trans Am. The dash should more closely resemble the series 2000 dash, same as the steering wheel, its just screaming to have the wheel replaced with the gullwing one. I like that one better.

Also KITT in KoTP has "KNIGHT INDUSTRIES 2000" debossed on his steering wheel. An anteresting tidbit.

Anyway, season 3 KITT by far. The season 3 dash and voice modulator were my favorite.

Yeah no kidding, SPM was used in almost every episode in Season 4.

Hey, you can use that sound for your KITT replica scanner on your Trans Am! Neat! Thats pretty nifty! There's a minor error though. On that version of the voice modulator Normal Cruise is supposed to be on the top instead of the middle.

SPM was really gimmicy yes. I think it loosk cool hearing all those sound effects and seeing the car transform. And don't froget transforming things were really big back in the mid 80's. I mean every kid had a transformer toy. So you can understand where everyone got the idea for KITT's new features...

KITT's turbine reminds me of an airline engine. Clearly KITT's turbine is the sound of power.
