Not everyone can afford the time, money, effort and resources to get a 100% screen accurate version of KITT, so I think this guy has done very well with what he has!!

A lot of people look at Spacehunter and think it's something WWII, like a Dodge Powerwaggon or maybe a Volvo Sugga.
I'm not convinced, though. A 4x4 pickup seems like the best fit, given this is a 1982 film.
Someone else has said it's definitely a 4WD due to the front diff.
