There were Knight Rider Annuals in the 80s. However, they were only available in Britain, but, you can check out Barnes and Noble's website(BN.com), type in Knight Rider Annual, and they can find you a used copy for about $20- $30.

I think with the K2000, it was Thrusters, and with the K3000, It was a ramjet(I think)

I wonder how much it costs. If you are really good with modeling paint, maybe you could paint that area orange. This is another reason why a Toy company should do KR Legacy/
